"We’ll have so much winning, you’ll get bored with winning!" - Donald Trump, 2015

- They can't write an executive order that passes muster, because the intent of the order is admittedly unconstitutional.
- Alienating our closest allies
- A pathological liar
- A budget that is DOA, let alone abusive
- Health care bill fiasco - especially as Ryan has had 8 years to craft something better than this slapdash bill
- A wall Mexico certainly won't pay for
- Wiretap!
- Russia love
- Most unpopular new president ever

So what winning is going on here?

Maybe this should have been filed under "What a Buffoon" except that that could also apply to the people who fell for his BS.

Ha! From afar this sounds like a wail!

It all saddens me. Not so much from Trump as I expected that, but that so many of his supporters don't seem to care. If Obama had been mired with 1/10th these Russia foibles most Trump supporters would be pulling their hair out in outrage. But Trump...

SAD

I rather doubt you will ever catch Trump, whispering to the Russian (on and open mic), "after the election I can be more flexible."

And yet the democrats are completely lost
Because they believe in facts and that government should try to make peoples' lives better?
and Hillary's power base still runs the party.
Are you making some kind of joke about Hillary's ass?
Because I don't know what "Hillary's power base" is. If you mean "the party establishment that supported what everyone believed was a slam-dunk candidate" is still in place, well yes. But the party establishment that fought Trump tooth and nail is still in place in the Republican Party, isn't it?

Not a huge fan of the Democrats but they're the only vaguely serious political party left now that the Republicans have let the wacko fringe take over.

I feel like we took the executive office to the lottery and blew up the team...next election cycle I expect to see young talent enter politics for a change...DC needed to retool and I guess that's the only positive I can take from the state of the union right now. Trump winning tells any political base that if you don't get it right and put forth a better effort, this is what happens in America...life is after all, a process of elimination...can't wait to dump Trump and elect a team I can root for and support for a change.

Have you been fucked yet? Ha! Still waiting your turn, hey! Well sing out when you have had yours.
Heh heh! Until then, stifle yourself.
This is a funny, yet unsurprising comment, Marz. Soon after the election, when the fur was really flying and some of you more conservative forum members were screaming about what a rotten president Obama was, and how he had screwed American citizens, I asked the harshest critics for specific examples of how Obama had actually screwed them specifically. The only (only!!) person who responded was you. He had cost you (and/or your wife) your healthcare. I get that and I can understand your feelings. But the rest of the Obama bashers remained (and still remain) silent. Not one single example was given. No estimate of increased taxes, no examples of rights or freedoms lost, nothing. My conclusion then is their distaste lies almost exclusively with ideological differences. And that certainly didn't cause them (or you) to "stifle" themselves. We heard you all loud and clear, ad nauseum. So put on your big boy skivvies and toughen up. Turnabout is fair play. It's not our fault you folks supported a moron , but it is certainly our privilege to point out the obvious.....

Marz are you actually trying to pick up a tweet? Just thought you should know you need a twitter account to talk to that lady

I go to church with a man who survived a rare form of cancer many years ago and has also struggled with drug abuse (meth) on and off over the years. It's basically pickled his brain but he means well... it's just that he can't really function and spent many years surviving through the kindness of others. Many families in my church offered Scottie free room and board over the years. He's also a fishing buddy of Mr. Spud, who has also spent a lot of time and money taking this man fishing and making sure he had food and medicine, etc. Well last year, after 17 years of being homeless the group, as a community of friends, managed to get him set up with his own apartment and car, etc. that he can afford on his own with his social security. But this guy is over here the other day loudly crowing about how Trump is going to finally get things right, blah, blah, blah... and all I could think was - everything you have right now is because of Obama's programs - an apartment, a car, food, healthcare. He's so much better off than he's been in almost 20 years but still thinks he's getting a raw deal.

Meth is a sad drug

Yeah it is, he still has slips and we've had to tell him that if he's going to make certain choices he's not welcome at our home. You walk a fine line between loving him and enforcing your own boundaries. It's very sad but, it takes a village in this case, it's the right thing to do, and you just pray he can keep himself together.

Are you kidding? He's playing the media and the hard left like a fiddle.
Not from where I'm sitting he isn't....he is however building a hell of a wall around himself and spouting the same tired schpiel he's always spouted..New York con man might fool some folks but not many....seniors didn't expect to lose their meals on wheels after they voted for him...his budget is reckless. His policies are not going to work....he thinks he's saving money gutting education, public services and environmental protection but in fact...by doing this he's destroying a vital work force....people forget how many jobs will be lost in those areas but we'll have more weapons to make up for it.

Trump thinks coal and steel factories and plants will make us great again....meanwhile the rest of the world will be developing robotics and new sources of energy...he thinks he's JP Morgan...Trump had a lot of stocks in US Steel....any wonder he wants to prop up that industry?

but it is certainly our privilege to point out the obvious....

Ha! The obvious hey! Well Rasta drones on forever, day after day. But I guess you did overlook the obvious hint of a small joke, Heh heh! Stifle yourself was the closing hint.
