Nic can be fantastic and impactful in his own way. You know a lot of the things said about him were said about LA just a year or two ago. There is still time for him to change. And when he does, who knows just how that goes. If he pulls a LA. We have ourselves another top 25 player. But I think the realistic assumption is that he serves in a similar role Rick Fox, Robert Horry served for their teams with their relative teams. Just a brilliant role player. Nic will prove his value come playoff time. He gets stops that are game changers. He defends the best players in the league night in and night out. He doesn't need to score to win games. Just don't pay him $11M per season and value him so high.

What you see is what you get. A guy with explosive talent who brings it some nights and disappears too many other nights. A solid defender. A good slasher. But potential is just that, and I have to say, the expiration date on his has expired.

A team with 15 Batums would entertain, make the kids laugh, sell a lot of tickets, and never win a game. A game would be mostly just a skills exhibition, like a Globetrotter "game."

Someone has to be the hard guy and shoulder responsibility for winning instead of just setting up others, especially at $12 million per.

Physically he has superstar written all over him. Mentally and how he thinks and what he thinks is what keeps him down.

This is what I think, I think the money is fine. Mentally there will be times and I think it will be the bigger moments that he will allow himself to reach his potential. And when that happens it will do nothing but payoff for the Blazer management, Organization and fans. So from that standpoint, I think he is paid fine. As time goes on, the amount may prove to be more palatable if you will.
