Monroe could easily been tipped that Por was heading in a different direction with DJ and decided to move on just as much as Monroe heard LMA was off to Spurs or PHX.

I like that deal but only because it expires next summer. If we can't get LMA then I don't want any long-term contracts on people who aren't game changers. Roy maybe was at one time but he isn't at the moment so good gamble that won't hurt you down the line.

Makes no sense. Leonard and Kanter defensively do not mix well. Unless Leonard became a legit shot blocker.

If you are going to rebuild (or retool for people who can't stand the other r word) then do it right. Don't offer max to Kanter and be stuck in the middle (a team that wins 40 games so no playoffs but also no high pick). Hibbert would work though as he expires next summer.

I think you were joking but I would overpay him. But only one a 1 year deal (2 year team option). Seriously, if we aren't getting LMA then we shouldn't be trying to have players who will eat cap two years from now.
