Why would we want Hibbert if we're rebuilding? I'd rather go after Larry Sanders as a reclamation project.

Cus Hibbert is a 1 year deal. Roll over more cap space to next year. But in the off-chance he busts out we could then trade him for something really good or keep him on a longer deal. Why would we want Hibbert if we're rebuilding? I'd rather go after Larry Sanders as a reclamation project.
He's expiring. If he plays well with Leonard we could make the playoffs, if he doesn't... Good piece to move at the deadline. Win-Win.Why would we want Hibbert if we're rebuilding? I'd rather go after Larry Sanders as a reclamation project.
When teams need enough to max 2 players or fringe playoff, an expiring Hibbert is very useful. Or, maybe he actually pans out to be good and you got his bird rights to re-sign him? Or maybe he's good enough and you can lock him up for multiple years for cheap? Why would we want Hibbert if we're rebuilding? I'd rather go after Larry Sanders as a reclamation project.
Link? They were rumored to be interested in Carlos Boozer, maybe they're talking to him to be the starting pf next year![]()

There are a lot of reasons why
Nards will be jacking up 3s at a 40% clip and will LITERALLY rebound the other 60%! #Legend #BestInTheWorldI guess Hibbert would be okay next to Nards since he'll be jacking up threes all game long, Hibbert can camp out in the key to get the rebound.

This is what's really tripping me out though. Aldridge has already met with all the teams. Maybe he's talking with Olshey now?1. Seeing if LA will come back.
2. Seeing who might be available in a lopsided trade

I don't buy that. I suspect Aldridge would publicly announce which team he's going to. He may have respect for Olshey, but if he is truly leaving, it means he wouldn't give a shit to say goodbyeYeah saying his goodbyes.
