So what did you think of the Superbowl halftime show?

I'm not a fan either of his music, but he gained a ton of respect from me for that episode. I lol'd a bunch.

I am a casual fan of Mars' music. Know the hits, nothing I'd actually go out and buy... but last night's performance blew me away. Kid has more talent in his Left Big Toe than I do in my whole body musically. His band and act was tight and well rehearsed. RHCP almost seemed like an anchor to the energy level. I am not understanding the hate for him. He exceeded all expectations and showed that old school R&B ain't dead yet.

Real Music stopped in the 80's before corporations dictated you listen to whinny chicks and gangstas from the same bread loaf. Rare to find creativity....... Only Blues and Jazz survived. Social media killed musician creativity.

If any of you want to listen to a talented band from Britain circa 1980's go to Utube for Acoustic Alchemy. Check their live shows You cannot tell the difference from studio. Calm excellent music and upbeat jazzy reggae tunes as well. Everyone I turned them on to loves their musical approach because they are Different. Great for driving, cooking and other human endevours.
