So what's the excuse now?

I seriously hate Houston from the fans to the players. It couldn't feel better...

Breaking:

The NBA admits that the officials made a mistake during Wednesday's night basketball game between the Portland Trailblazers and Houston Rockets. A shot clock violation was called late in the game against the Rockets. However, the NBA finds that the Rockets should have been awarded 34 seconds, and this critical call should not have been made.

Nah, the apology will be over the foul out on Harden.

Their excuse is that the fans didn't leave soon enough.

Over at clutch fans they seem to be on the right path now, "fire Mchale"

Hakeem left early. The Dream was having a nightmare.

I will say I thought the officials were generous to us with Howard. I saw at least two times he should have been awarded an and one.

LA as well. Like on his big dunk late.

I thought the officiating was better, pretty darn even overall. They let some things slide, but not too many BS calls either way, no more than we usually see.

I haven't hated a team/fanbase as much as I dislike Houston's since the Blazers actually used to play real games against the Lakers in the playoffs.

Yep nothing standing out either way. I want these refs for every game

The fairness of the refs was pointed out repeatedly in the the game thread. It seemed fair to me, but Houston fans may not think the same.

My hate for 2014 Houston makes my hatred for the Scola model back in 2009 seem quaint and cute.

The game started at 8:50 local time on a work night. TNT ads added to the game length. I don't blame them for beating the traffic at 11:30 PM.

Besides, in Houston they were all up at 7:30 AM watching the spacewalk on NASA-TV. Back at the ranch, the steers are mooing for hay.

You must not be including this board's fanbase.

What can they say? Hardin was dishing it off half way though the game because he was too scared to shoot.

No big personalities. It's so nice to just trust that the calls aren't a result of ego or corruption.

I hadn't heard of any of those refs really, other than Zach, other than a passing moment. I leaned toward that being "bad," but I was wrong. Nobody will still be able to name the refs of this game in a month.

You can really see the chemistry of our team shining through right now.

I recorded Lillard's postgame interview. He was just so polished, unemotional, and concentrated on the team's performance, and not his own, when he said he didn't have it, for whatever reason, and LMA played the MVP he is again.

And their trust for each other. Houston is out there spazzing out, making their run in the 4th, and the Blazers just calmly do their work. They trusted each other to make plays and do the right thing.
