So who all went out trick or treating?

Me. I took my daughter. She got plenty of candy. Just waiting until she goes to sleep.... ;)

My wife took our kids (3 and 2) out. Didn't get a report of the candy score, but my kids like dressing up. My daughter was a glitter fairy and my boy was a hobo.

What an odd twist if you daughter grew up to be a hobo and your son a fairy?

Not that there anything wrong with having a hobo for a child.

Portland could just buy here a one-way ticket to Vegas and make all my nightmares come true.

I "gave" full-sized candy bars. Now that it's over I just ate 3 Snickers, 1 Twix, and 1/2 of a Milky Way. It's too sugary, but after a rest I'll stomach the other half. Tomorrow I'll feast again.

Took my youngest around our neighborhood, then she and my wife went to meet the oldest and her friends in Victoria Woods, which is basically the Peacock Lane of Halloween. The youngest went as an Oakland Raider, and I wore my Bo Jackson jersey.

Saved the candy that the kids might eat, chocolate, and suckers. Still have 16.2 pounds excess to sell to the dentist offices.

We have plenty of candy to sell back, too. I don't even like candy, but I've had 5 frozen Snickers minis in the last half hour, and am now too jacked up on sugar to try to think about bed and a book.

Damn kids. In my day they didn't have all these little squirts shorter than me, so I got better taken-care of and got ALL the candy.

Took my super-kids out. Son was Iron Man, daughter was Super Girl. I was the Dread Pirate Roberts, but several people thought I was Zorro.

Missed this house tonight because I didn't want to stay out with the girls all night, but dayum!!! A few friends of mine got to enjoy and go inside for a haunted house with the kiddos.

I'm sure you felt that way when you were 8, didn't you?

Loved it when I was a kid.

But, whoever thought the idea of dressing up in costumes and asking for candy as a holiday needs to be shot.

Or, maybe I'm just pissed off because my dogs loud barks got on my nerves tonight.

On Halloween only, kids should be allowed to shoot barking dogs. It would add to the fun.

My 2.5 year old refused to walk and was crying because he wanted up. Our expedition lasted about 58 seconds before I drove him home.
