Next question; Without Googling, Name the first skipper to lead three different teams to pennants.

Only one I can think of and that would be Dick Williams. Red sox/Athletics / Padres.

I don't know if he was the first to do it. And he's the only one I can think of.

LaRussa came close but no cigar.

Next question;

Without googling, name the manager who, after Connie Mack and John McGraw, had the most consecutive years managing one team.

Had to be Walt Alston, 54-76?

If there were a skipper(s) other than the two noted prior, who managed longer than Walt, I don't know who that person would be...

I am going to recuse myself on this one. I watched a game this weekend, in which the game commentator spoke of this.

Had I not of heard about this, I would have guessed incorrectly.

I will not disclose the game, channel nor announcer, as such could possibly be a give away.

Hey Al how have you been?
I was just thinking about you the other day.
doing well, thanks for asking ....i havent been watching much Yankee baseball due to the extended tax season, two years in a row....
just went for my first covid shot on Tuesday and had the usual side affects yesterday...chills..slight fever, flipping thru the channels i saw the final out of Kluber's no no..and as usual we have Stanton injuried...judge apparently injuried and sanchez sucking....

Next question; Without Googling, name the four hitters who, since World War II, had five or more seasons batting .350 or better.

I'm going to guess based on the greatest Hitters I've seen in my time-
Off the top of my head..
Ted Williams
Rod Carew
Tony Gwynn
Wade Boggs

I'm going to chew on it the rest of the night while I cook dinner and bake Kim's birthday cake. One of my favorites the German chocolate cake recipe from The bakers square chocolate bar.

No need to chew any further how in the hell could I have overlooked and Stan the Man Musial?

Because he like Ted Williams, did play when I was a kid, my memories are not as vivid. Stan the man was by far the best autograph I have ever obtained in person, and nobody else came close!

Matts, remember that the question was "Since WWII....."

I need your final answer....a bag of Chee-tos hangs in the balance.

Scratch Musial-
I'm going to go with-

-Ted Williams
-Rod Carew
-Wade Boggs
and
-Tony Gwynn

Next question; Without Googling, name 3 of the 5 hitters ranked in the top 25 in career singles, doubles and triples.

(since it is such a tough question, I lowered the answer from 5 to 3)

I know 2 of those guys, I think:

Musial
Cobb

I gotta' think on this one a bit longer, and channel the baseball gods, but not in a field of corn, rather a field of tumbleweeds and blowing dirt...
