I'm eating a couple fish tacos and they are the bomb. The one thing I hate when I travel up North is their inability to provide me with good mexican food. They still have that TacoTime place?

tell me about it, the quality mexican places out here are few and far between

There's a joke about Mags girlfriend in here somewhere but I'm far too much of a gentleman to go there.

I didn't know there were so many. It used to be WEE MAN's Chronic Tacos. I've never been though.

I like the real shit yo. Some fucking cabeza tacos or al pastor. Lots of spots.around town, the taco truck on Venice and La Brea or some of the spots up in Highland Park...la estrella...so damned good...the fish tacos are the bomb out here too out in East LA. Tacos Baja Ensenada or Taco Nazo...so good.

I went to Mexico City a few years ago and the street tacos there are just on another level.

I love Taco Time. Crisp Meat Burrito is the shit.

you HAVE to have awesome tacos out in hillsburrito?

anyway, this is a taco.

quite possibly, the world's perfect food.

And if you're ever in Culver City....gotta love TITOS TACOs. totally inauthentic but they are hard cruchy tacos. a lot of noobs don't appreciate them but they are like crack after you have them 2-3 times.

Was in Salem for work today and ate lunch at this spot.

Quite possibly the best carne asada hard taco I've had in my life. They fry the tortilla made-to-order, and it was still too hot to eat when I got my food.

Ahh, pretty crazy that the Albertos imitators made it all the way up to Oregon. Albertos is a chain out here and San Diego, alot of imitators like "Alertos" and the like with different spellings started popping up.

If they have Carne Asada Fries (aka Super Fries) check it out. Its a game changer.

Best mexican joint I've eaten (aside from El Gaucho, but that doesnt really count) was Roberto's down on Mission Beach in San Diego. Bomb diggity!

I'm not really well versed in Taco stands either, but that places taco's were the tits!

Roberto's is legit. Baja Fish tacos there are out of this world. Hell, its HARD to go wrong in San Diego and tacos. LA is a bit different but San Diego is just nirvana for that shit.

I ate there twice a day when I was staying down there.

How about California Burritos? If not, think..Carne Asada fries, in burrito form. They are huge down here.

They had an Oregon Burrito. That's probably the same, since so many people were ordering it.

It had lots of green sauce?

dont get it

like oregons are envious?
oregonians smoke weed?
oregonians have chlamydia and gonorrhea?

cant be the weed thing, EVERYONE knows californians smoke and grow WAY more weed, so it must be that all oregonians are jealous and riddled with stds

Then, of course, The Original Taco House on NE 82nd is incredible.

You have got to be kidding me. That was probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had. It was like watered down Taco Bell for 5 times the price.
