Plenty of chances. They've scored on 2 bounces.

I posted a thread about Lundqvist. His play is nothing close to a level that justifies his salary.

We had chances but couldn't finish sadly. I knew as soon as we didn't score on that 4 min PP that the Isles were gonna score there. They had an odd man rush with him coming outta the box. The Rangers fell asleep on the time left on the PP it looked like. Oh well. Keep up the pressure and hopefully we can get some puck luck in the second. Worried about the isles getting a couple of PPs though and tilting the ice. Need a strong, CLEAN second period. Get a quick goal back and take it from there.

Hank should've been benched after that third goal. That was atrocious.

Klein again continues to look bad.

Klein has been bad all season. I've been expecting him to find his game but he has been the worst defensemen on this team. Skjei is having a rough one tonight as well. Don't want to beat on Hank more but there was no reason for him to take himself out of the play like that.

Islanders getting away with a lot of cross checks.

That's their M.O. Hit hard and late and see what they can get away with as it's a rivalry game so refs typically let a little more go then usual. One more reason why we need a BIG power forward who can lay the wood on them.

Rangers down two forwards at the moment. Nash went to the locker room and Puempel will not return.

That's just not possible. Staal with a sniper of a shot.

Now, HANK, don't screw this up with shit positioning. lol

There's a beauty to get the Rangers back in it.

Have outplayed the isles. Hrivik looks good. I prefer him over that scrub puempel.

Too bad they are not cashing in on their PP in this game.

Amazing how quickly this team balances out during the season. Injuries are a killer. There is no
over compensation with this team. Third & fourth lines need to cash in.

If Halak played every team like he does the Rangers the Islanders would be unbeatable.

Why no Grabner? Like I said in the Hank thread, haven't been able to follow closely lately due to family issues. This team has just had a HUGE bite from the injury bug. Be interesting to see Nash's injury and how long he'll be out for. They're gonna struggle with this lineup to stay above water if Nash is hurt and with no Z or Buch or Grabner.

Grabner had to go back to Austria for a family thing.
