obviously, the biggest problem on this team (nevermind Stotts) is a lack of scoring at SF position... now, theres some options of what Blazers can do, so I put them into the pool and I would like to hear what you guys are thinking about that, but youre welcome to post your own one
I consider Nurk (yeah, take that Nurk haters) & Collins players who are the future of the franchise and to me they are untradeable, nevermind Dame, hes the leader and the face of the franchise, rest of the team is tradeable as far as Im concerned
a) trade CJ & assets (excluding Dame, Nurk & Collins) for SF and draft SG
without good SF, this team doesnt work, so its only logical, for all Im concerned, to break that backcourt and bring good SF here and have more balanced team... then use our pick to draft SG
b) keep CJ, draft SF, stay competitive, but also build for the future (with Nurk, Collins and SF)
this personally is my favorite option, staying competitive with players like Dame, CJ & Nurk, but also building for the future with Nurk, Collins and drafted SF
when I say "competitive", I mean playoff team, we would probably still lose in the 1st round (were that team right now, but without one talented guy on the roster, who we could get at the draft and who could make our future better)
c) trade assets (excluding Dame, CJ, Nurk & Collins) for solid SF and then draft another SF (long term solution)
this is a great option, we improve our roster now and draft SF for the future
d) trade assets and picks (excluding Dame, CJ, Nurk & Collins) for SF
I didnt put this option in the pool, cause obiously it isnt doable, we cant bring good SF here without giving CJ, but that surely looks like the best option to me... I wrote this so you wouldnt lol
