Thanks for taking the time and proving my original post correct.
You did know that was a joke, right?

FWIW, I got the joke (and it does tie in to all the posts about NBA refs)....but right now, people are finding it hard to laugh at stuff. This was supposed to be the pay-off - the season the team really took a big step forward. The disappointment is still too raw.
What is the point of this thread, though?
You're a dirty attention whore. Are these the same sources that told you that Phoenix was going to boycott one of their playoff games against the Blazers?

No. That source told me that the Blazers were going to boycott Game 7 against the Suns. I think that's why the league fixed it for the Suns in Game 6. They avoided the PR mess that would've come with the boycott.
A joke. A joke that shouldn't have offended anyone. I should say, though, that I hope the joke comes true! That would be awesome!
Wait, you take issue with what I posted, yet you're OK with this?!?
In that case, I'm going to try to say this as nice as I possibly can...
Can you please not make joke threads? I feel that they clutter up the board, and would appreciate a bit more restraint on your part. I like reading about and discussing the Blazers, but it's not really been worth coming here lately.
Agreed....same "joke" different subject every 8 hours is not funny to anybody
Again, at least it wakes people up. If the threads don't interest you, don't click on them. They'll disappear quickly, especially if you start threads that are acceptable to you. But it appears many of you would rather bash me than start a discussion about basketball which I suppose is fine. I guess I'm flattered at this point.
I'm numb. I am proud, though, that this thread has over 330 views. If people don't like my threads, why click on them? As Ed O said, they'll quickly fly right off the front page. The big reason I start a thread like this is... I'm sitting here on my computer and refreshing the page over and over and NO ONE is posting. So I post a joke or a legit discussion to get something going. Would people rather the board stay completely dead for several hours? What's the point of it then? And if you want it to stay dead, just don't come here.
Huh?!? Did I say anything like that? Now you're lying about things I've posted?!? I think I was the first to acknowledge you were bored and wanted attention. Me saying that is what upset you in the first place. Seriously King, I've never had a problem with you but you seem to be going out of your way to have a problem with me. Double standards and now accusing me of saying things that I never have.
So why was the game thrown? Because Stern has ordered the refs to make sure we lose our next two and fall to the 8th seed. Today's game was on ABC and Stern wanted it to be a playoff preview. He wanted to get people excited about a "sure to be dramatic" Blazers-Lakers first round series.
Are these the same sources that told you that the Lakers were ordered to lose that regular season game against us since it was all part of a great scheme to setup a Lakers-Blazers matchup in round one?
Hey lookey, I even found the thread: http://sportstwo.com/threads/156585-Sources-Stern-ordered-the-Lakers-to-lose-that-game.
....rofl
But hey, seriously, thanks for your contributions. Much love. Your posts are great! My co-workers (one of which is a former high school and college basketball coach and NBA scout) and I always get great laughs at your posts!!![]()
Down 19. Here comes the miracle comeback.
Uh huh.
