that is the more truthful statement...vince wanted out and the raptors panicked...

end of 03/04, the goal was to make the team better so he would stay. im sure thats what the fans wanted and that was what vince was fighting for. and he pseudo won. as soon as he left, raptors got rid of all the bad players, got rid of the GM he despised, and became a really really good team.

Raptors panicked?

Now, that is incredibly funny.

Yeah they really took their time when they waited for the best offer to come in

and then traded Vince for Eric Williams LMAO

Sigh, some people will only see what they want to believe.

Nice of you to show your ignorance. Thanks.

Raptors wanted draft picks, and there wasn't another NBA team that felt Vince was worth draft picks.

AND RAPTORS TOOK ALONZO MOURNING, KNOWING HE'D NEVER SHOW UP IN CANADA.

You have once again shown how little you know about the NBA, but you can expect some consolation prizes in the mail.

Nope, try again. They couldn't even get a bargain player thrown in the mix.

Jason Kidd's trade stock was at an all time low and the Nets got picks, cap space, and a young budding star in Devin Harris. The Raptors got a center who wouldn't play for their team, and a scrub.

When you're ready to discuss intelligently let me know.

You're willing hire someone that has some intelligence to exchange posts with me? I'd appreciate that.

If you're going to continue to whine about your Buck-colored glasses go right ahead.

It's one thing to be DEAD WRONG, but it's another thing to get upset about it.

To his dog, every man is Napoleon; hence the constant popularity of dogs.

A) Are you old enough to have seen Buck Williams play?

B) You continually prove Huxley's theory, as Vince seems to be quite popular with you.

Would you disagree? Am I wrong?

Well, if you think Buck was a joke, you are wrong. Hardest working man in the NBA for his entire career.

And if you think Vince isn't a little whining, pouting roll-over-and-die dog, you are wrong.

So, I guess what I'm saying, is that you are wrong, and know nothing.

I care about RESULTS. The FACTS. Buck Williams was a dog, a joke, and his supposed, alleged "leadership" couldn't get the Nets past the second round.

Yet this is good enough for you to hate Vince. "You do not own a dog, the dog owns you.” Can you comprehend this yet?

Well aside from being a good rebounder I don't see what's so unique about him. it was a different NBA in the 80's
Do you really think he'd have those gaudy numbers in the NBA of the 90's? No way my friend.
The only funny joke is here is that you try to compare the "good ol' days" to today.
