Prior to yesterdas game MLB Network ran that piece on Cora. Verduccis tongue was black as tar after that butt cleanout. And yeah Pena is a real dork living in the area I've heard enough of his shit over the years. Pena was doing some serious humming up there in the broadcast booth. Did not watch todays game did a score check when it was over. I can't handle Staats shit either. I ill not tune in to any Yankees Rays game when Staats & Company do their broadcast. First thing I thought seening a Yankee win was that Boner may have not showed up.

Andy Pettitte has been hired by The Yankees as a Special Assistant as per Bryan Hoch.
 
Be a huge bonus if guys like Cessa, German, and Loaisiga can step up their game to a point that proves effective twixt the starters & pen.

Saw an ESPN Article on Voit/Byrd this am. Looks like there is going to be some keen competition for a job that seemed like Byrds one year ago. Per the article, Voit is trying to get his defensive game tightened up enough to make a solid all around case for his job. I guess many Yankee Fans were hoping that Byrd would get it together in '18 but he went in the opposite direction. Boone could help out both men by keeping his comments on their competition to himself instead of spewing it out to the press. The idea is to let the players compete not pitting them against one against the other due to remarks made to the wrong sources. Like many other Yankee Fans I had great hopes for Bryd but Voit came out of nowhere and has become a serious competitor.
