Cesspool pitching his 3rd inning with his first start this spring. BaBoone left him in there.
And of course Cesspool is shitting the bed. So far 3 hits from first 4 batters in this inning.
Cessa gives up 1 run.

End of 3 ......Yankees 3 Pirates 1

Farquhar up tossing in The Bullpen probably will come in for the 4th Inning.

Why is this bull even on this roster??
He can't handle a spring training game, then he sure as hell can't handle the real deal good...
But we've known this, the tarnished Brass never will....

Now it's 6-3 who are these scrub Pitchers that Boner is sending in???

^^^^^
Danny Farquhar is making his first appearance since he suffered a brain hemorrhage from a ruptured aneurysm last season. Unfortunately, he was wild & hit hard resulting in the Pirates 5 run fourth inning.

Yankees 3 Pirates 6.

In the case of Farqujar at this stage one must root for the man. In all other matters it looks like Boner is lost in the sauce. I am merely score checking but a great source of entertainment today is Sci-Fi on TCM. Watched parts or The Time Machine, Forbidden Planet and now Them.

Yankees add a run on a ground out in the 6th inning.

Yankees 4 Pirates 6 bottom 7th inning.

What a fucking joke, getting your asses kicked by the Pittsburgh Pirates. I hear Russo state that two American League Managers would be under scrutiny from day one. First was Renteria up in Chicage, the second was out own beloved Boner. If the Yankees fail to get off to a decent start Boner & his bullshit could be right out the door. I have very little belief in his abilities and I think most Yankee Fans have the same take.

I’m with you, Michael. I really think he will again f*** up and thwart this team in getting
to the World Series. Then again only our bumbling GM may not act quickly enough if the
team begins to lag out of the gate & throughout the year.

I knew nothing of Farquhar, whoa Nelly, gotta hand it to the kid for making it thus Far-...quahar...

As for Cesspool, I made a typical typo and called him a bull, should be a castrated cow- doh- cows/steers, no balls... :hcp::cowboy:

So don't give him the ball, no mas....:shock1:

I used to tell my little Leaguers "if you win exhibition games you're doing something wrong". Rather I would be doing something wrong. The whole point of exhibition for little Leaguers is to find out who can play what position.

Last I checked the New York Yankees were not little Leaguers...

BaBoone and Teashman both should be on the hot seat, other than Mad-Dogs short leash. But then so should the H&H Stein kids.
Fans revolt, if necessary....

Giving that the Yankees passed on the "dynamic duo' and stating the need for pitching during an interview I think Steinbrenner is in the mode of an old Dolly Parton Tune. "I'm a little bit slow to catch on, but when I do I'm caught on" Congrats to Hal for that. A Yankee GM whose Teams have won but one Championship since '00 certainly should be held accountable. I was shocked when Cashman & Torre were not sacked after '04. Girardi was a good skipper but got handed a group of aging prima donnas which spelled doom every year. The we come to '18, see talent on the field managed by a complete buffoon end resulting in a playoff loss against Boston. Kay defended Boner stating that even a great manager like Maddon was getting booed by Cub Fans. I don't know what went on in Chicago but I damn sure didn't give a crap. Kay should know that Yankee Fans have concerns for their team and performance. Starting from day one and especially at home games Boone will be the object of scrutiny, hope he likes living under a magnifier.
