As crazy as this sounds... we should win Sunday's game.

Spurs are in Milwaukee the night before and we have a slightly early start. If the Bucks play that no defense, up and down the court game like they did last night the Spurs should be tired with the Nets new speed and youth. We'll have more time to prep and practice. And they won't really be able to scout what this new Nets team can do.
 
I'd guess the point spread in this game will be very low or even a pick 'em.

Even good teams lose these second half of back-to-back road games the majority of the time.
 
Well we have Devin Harris who stopped Tony Parker and Tony admits that.
We also have some guy called 'Duncan stopper'.
We just need Hassells nickname to be 'Manubleed' and we're good.
 
Manu is the Spurs version of RJ in that he runs towards the hoop yelping and gets the foul called.

I agree with both. Terry almost lost control yesterday because he claimed that Bowen elbowed him. Wouldn't be surprised if he did.


Bet you he'll look for some dirty way to hurt RJ or VC. That's the type of player he is.

i hope bruce pisses vince off in the beginning of the game to light a fire under his ass and then vince goes crazy.

Bowen needs a good punch in the face and I mean it. I'm tired of his constant dirty plays; kicking Nash in the groin, kicking Allen in the back, intentionally sticking his foot under Crawford etc. What kind of crap is this? How can you allow this? I hope he gets what's coming to him.

Ive been seeing this for years now with him, someone should just break the guys leg
because alot of guys like Vince have been injured by this clown, and still the league does nothing.

What really pisses me off is a couple years ago when Vince was going off on him and closing in on a career high is that he through his foot under VC ankle so he wouldnt get yelled at by Popp and still the league did nothing

I agree with both of you. Bowen is a fucking clown, an somehow, Horry's sunk below to his level, as well.

I hope Vince goes off on Bowen for 50+, and Bowen fouls out and gets T'ed up, DQ'ed, and suspended for being an asshole.

I hope Bowen goes to trip Vince, misses and ruptures his achilles tendon. Also wouldn't mind seeing Manu break his tailbone on a flop.

Not only did Bowen get away with it, but VC got his second technical of the game (and thus an ejection) for charging at Bowen in anger. Carter did not touch Bowen (and we can't be sure he would have) because a ref stopped him on the way.
 
On the one hand, I don't think I really would ever want to see a player get hurt.

On the other, if Trenton Hassell were to stick his foot under a Manu Ginobli jump shot as he's on his way to a 50 point game, and then we were to win the game, then, well, that would be fitting.
 
Vc could not miss that game. That was unreal that day. Man remember the streak he was on then, 30+ every single night. Best player in the leaugue at that moment. I miss that guy. Bowen head buts him first and the get double t's and then the obvious step under again. VC was right to be pissed. Pop bitched out Bowen on the bench because nobody could stop VC, Bowen goes back in gets torched for another 5 minutes, then the incident.
 
Don't worry. Karma is a bitch. Prepare to get torched tomorrow Bowen you pussy!
 
Let's hope for a high score in the Mil-SA game tonite. Double OT would be great!

I don't remember where I read it, but I heard the Nets will be giving away Harris jerseys to the first 5,000 fans at Izod on Sunday vs. the Spurs. Is that true? What time should I be at the arena to guarantee getting those if the game starts at 6?

not jerseys, but rather white t-shirts with his picture and number on it. you can see it at njnets.com

if the game starts at 6, I'd try to get there by 5. there should be no problem obtaining a shirt an hour early.

hey guys, im going to the game. (first time to a nets game). im so excited. see how it turns out. fans better be good. in brasil, were used to hooligans and crazy torcidas in futebol (soccer) games
