They forgot to mention anything about the Tinder groupies.

How does the Clippers rank higher than the Lakers when they play in the same arena? Loved all of the activities outside Staples Center and wished the Rose Quarter had more to do.

Years ago in Philly, they had the Spectrum. That place had the worst acoustics. The reverb masked the announcer.

There is also fan engagement. Clippers games are like really family friendly with giveaways, hype people, the stuff they do during timeouts. The lakers they don't do that shit as much.

So you would rather watch assclowns shoot from half court (most not even hitting the backboard) compared to the Laker dancers?

Seriously though, only watched one game so the novelty there would probably wear off after a while. I did like the break in action to be able to talk about the game. Some of the older Blazer season ticket holders said they missed that with the move from Veteran's Memorial. Pre-game everyone was nice to me and my son. We were both wearing our Blazers gear and it may have been different if they had been playing that night. Guessing there were not a lot of people looking for trouble either with it being late this season Lakers vs. Kings.

I like the Clipper Spirit over the Laker Dancers. I may be biased though. :MARIS61:

Being around Lakers fans turns my stomach, so yes. I'd rather watch assclowns shoot from half court. But from your "average" fan standpoint, the Clippers is a much better environment. Its a little too family friendly for me, but they have some funny shit going on during the game. Plus they have hooked up our Blazer Fans LA group with some early access, allow us to do group buys with discounts, watch shootaround, etc.

I can't imagine any other fans being more passionate or knowledgeable than Blazer fans. They have a reputation around the league for being such. The concourse, during play, is a ghost town. Everyone is in the arena cheering on the Blazers. Attention to the on the court action is second to none. You don't see the typical "I'm just here with friends because they had an extra ticket" type of attendee. True, hardcore fans, who live and die with the team, are the norm. They are attentive, loud, and respectful - but they don't mind letting you know exactly how they feel.

Way to represent Blazer fans!

"Now, about their official message board..." :MARIS61:

I'm surprised by this. In the few games I attended this season, I was struck by how little non-basketball entertainment and activities there were compared to previous years. The spectacle and the experience was not nearly as charged as in previous years IMO.

I agree. The whole Blazers experience has gone steadily downhill on all fronts for me since the ridiculous jail blazers talent dump and pr clowns taking over player selection. No real attempt at having the best team in the league has been attempted.

The experience at the Moda Center is pretty good. They had to step up their game with the Timbers in town.

The new expansion will put them over the top if the Blazers don't hurry up and build a contender.
