I wish the Blazers could hire Hakeem to coach the big men, but I suspect he's not interested in it.

He has a camp every summer. The Blazers better make sure he is there. (They should pay for it if possible)

That would be great. I just wonder how motivated the big men (in Portland) are to improving that much.

Of the three (Leonard, Claver and Freeland), I think Meyers as the most potential to be more than a solid backup. Although Claver is more of a SF than a PF/Big.

For the Blazers, I think that hiring him for 3 million for the year would be a wise investment. Again, I doubt that Hakeem would do it (or leave his current residence).

All this Hakeem stuff is weird to me. For all the work that he did with Howard, how much improvement has anyone really seen in a refined offensive game. He mainly scores by using his strength and garage buckets.
