I can't be the only one who watches Stotts
Geez! I can't believe this Board. You like guards chucking and and bigs that can't even find an offense.
Worse yet you can't even identify your best shooter. Neither can your PG.
I'm happy Leonard bet on himself. Would rather spend money on the Harkless/Crabbe project than the Leonard one.
Haha. Only 30? Blazers took 44 threes and shot 43%. Of course, the five or six in a row we made at the end there kind of helped. Some of the guard shots, such as the first 2 by CJ that didn't fall, would be better shot by Meyers. There would be enough shots if the Blazers are scoring better with higher percentage shooters.
In a winning game, the Blazers may want to shoot up to 30 3-pointers, which leaves room for 12 tries by Meyers. It would be nice to have more 3-point threats in the game now, wouldn't it?
Don't those Dame swish3s feel good (especially in the first minutes)?
or someone else in FA this summer, Meyers just sucksI'm happy Leonard bet on himself. Would rather spend money on the Harkless/Crabbe project than the Leonard one.

I like these joke accounts, they always do such a marvelous job of driving up post counts. @Denny Crane must be pleased![]()
In light of the joke that is this thread let's keep it going.I like these joke accounts, they always do such a marvelous job of driving up post counts. @Denny Crane must be pleased![]()
And that's just the thing. If he keeps playing this way we very well could retain him for cheap - which I would totally do, just in case he ever puts it all together. This might work out in our favor in the long run.I hope he has a great second half of the year but the more i watch, the more im starting to think this is his last year. unless we get him for a bargain and hes our 5th big.

He's certainly been the most disappointing player of the season. However, I haven't fully given up on him.
Even when he doesn't deliver his presence alone creates space for the others. Even though it appears we're playing 4-on-5 with him on the court, the other team can't completely ignore him like most 4-on-5 line-ups in the league. They still have to keep an eye on him and close-out whenever he receives a pass up top - teams didn't even bother doing that in Dame/LMA pick/pops. So even if he puts up an egg, he's still serving a purpose.I agree with this. He can be a decent role player. But do not pay him more than the 5-7 mil a year. No way he has peaked. He will get better.
What would you do if one of the kids you were coaching kept passing up shots you knew they could make... Game after game? What does he do? Frown?
I can't tell, but maybe he appears to be indifferent. What do you see?

Frown?
We are are running plays to get each one a shot. I would simple explain again, that is your shot we ran the play for you. let us do it again guys.
If I can't get it right, I will step aside and assume it must be my demeanor at fault.

Trade him.I think this is the operative sentence.
"What would you do if one of the kids you were coaching kept passing up shots you knew they could make... Game after game?"
How can we best change this?

Get real peeps.
There is a lot of potential in Meyers and Dame raining in the swish3s. I trust that this thread has made you think about how these 2 guys from the same Blazer draft class can develop into scoring threats that can progress toward a 60+% wins season.
