If there's one thing I can't stand it's unsubstantiated accolades and undeserved reputations. You have obviously done more homework than myself. That said, I'd rather have LA than anybody on your list and so would 30 other GMs. He will be greatly missed.
You're wrong.Bro we won't even "eek" into 20 wins let alone the playoffs. You got your wish for LA to leave, hope your ready to reap the rewards!

If you enjoy being a 1-and-done team, then LMA will be greatly missed. If you'd rather be on one end of the spectrum or the other, rather than in the middle, he won't be missed in the slightest.
What a great comment. So smart and insightful! What a stupid comment.
It wasnt LA's fault the team couldn't win.

Umm, I just showed that his reputation as a great mid-range shooter is ABSOLUTELY unsubstantiated.Im not going to get into a flame war.
Saying his accolades are undeserved and unsubstantiated is just trolling. He is a great player that had little to no help while he was here
If you wanna be bitter for him telling the team he wanted out years ago, and then doing it, fine.
Just wait till around halfway though the season when everyone starts bitching & complaining about the team. Trade this guy, Trade that guy, Can't stand loosing, Stotts sucks ect. It's much easier to talk about the growing pains when the season hasn't started yet.
When we are getting hammered down the stretch in games and losing 5 of 7.......10 of 13, etc, you'll miss him.If there's one thing I can't stand it's unsubstantiated accolades and undeserved reputations.

Please explain Dr. AddyYou're wrong.
No he's not.. dont pull a strenus 100% comment
What are you talking about? There are people on here talking about making the playoffs and winning 40 something games. Those are very unrealistic goals.Who would actually do that? This only happens when expectations arent being met.
There are no expectations for this team EXCEPT for the growing pains.

Kinda like you "expecting" to get laid one of these years by something that you don't inflate and it NEVER happening?I said expectations, not goals. They are two different things, really.

No, I honestly won't. I've never (well, not since I was a kid) been hung up on regular season W/Ls. Sure, some particular losses really sting as a fan, but I've seen enough basketball to know that a W/L record can be very misleading. I think I'll enjoy this season's losses more than last season's wins. I'd rather watch a team develop than a watch a team stagnate. When we are getting hammered down the stretch in games and losing 5 of 7.......10 of 13, etc, you'll miss him.
Rather win 50+ games a season and not make it past the first round then go back to losing with young guys who hustle and have heart and determination. Just me.No, I honestly won't. I realize I'm comparing apples to oranges, but I coached both my sons in youth baseball and basketball almost all the way through their grade school years. Some teams had great records and that was cool. Some had crappy records. The winning never ever came close to beating (or the losing close to negating) watching the kids learn and grow. I still remember the first time a third grade team ran the pick and roll (or "give and go") to perfection. We got our asses kicked that game but we were the crew that looked like a basketball team. The team was far prouder of their ability to execute together than they would have been if they had been lead to a win by one or two hotdogs. And once they figured it out, they just kept getting better, beating more talented yet less disciplined teams. And when we lost, we rarely lost ugly. So I agree with blue9, at least about this year's team. The satisfaction (and even joy) is going to be in how this particular team develops and comes together. No, I honestly won't. I'm not bitter in the least - I'm one of the few that is happy and relieved that he walked.
So take your "what a stupid comment" stupid comment and cram it.
I can understand that mentality. I just would rather Drive an Audi or BMW with 75,000 and have it break down every now and then and have to get a new one.......than drive a brand new Kia or Hyundai. If you arent going forward, youre going backward.
Winning 50 every year and losing in the first round means Never Winning a title.
Losing with young guys that MIGHT develop in a couple of years at gives hope for something better
Would it matter if driving the Kia for a couple years gave you the opportunity to own a Bentley shortly thereafter?I can understand that mentality. Actually no. Thats not my style....... Always have been the kinda person who doesn't like to take steps back even if it means I go further ahead. I guess I look at this team like I do my life. Thats probably why I drive a very nice Audi with 85,000 miles on it and am content.Would it matter if driving the Kia for a couple years gave you the opportunity to own a Bentley shortly thereafter?
What's stupid about it? I find your comment far more stupid as it has absolutely no substance. Stupid.I don't know why you're so mad? You're the one that made the stupid comment
