This is why Pelosi says she prays for Trump on a regular basis. She says it's because of her religious upbringing. I can only try to match her but it's extremely difficult.

When Oprah gives gifts to her audience they are at least real. Trump gave a young girl a fake scholarship.

He announced Janiyah Davis would get a scholarship so she would not have to attend a "failing government school", Trumpspeak for public school. Secretary of "education" Betsy DeVos, who said eliminating public schools is god's plan, cheered. Janiyah looked surprised and had to be told to applaud.

A journalist, I mean enemy of the people, for Philadelphia Inquirer investigated and found Janiyah attends a special math and science high school, one of the top ranked in the state. Because it is a public school, I mean a failing government school full of very bright college bound students, it is free and no scholarship needed. Janiyah and her mother Stephanie Davis had no idea why they had been flown to attend SOTU.

They were props in a reality TV production. To pretend to any wavering white people who might care that Trump isn't really racist.

Janiyah actually won't be getting her scholarship from one of Pennsylvania's state-funded school choice programs or from any local scholarship groups.

U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos will pay for Janiyah's schooling at a private school for a year, according to a department spokeswoman.

"The White House and [Department of Education] worked together to find a very deserving family who had applied for a scholarship and wanted to send their child to a school that best fit their needs," the spokeswoman said in an email. "Secretary DeVos donates her salary each year, and this year, a portion of that donation will cover Janiyah’s entire tuition for a year."

The Public Charter School Janiyah has currently attended for 4 months after years of waiting, while it may be better than most of Philly's shitty Public Schools, has no real art program and is still shitty compared to just about any private school in America. All public schools, including Public Charters, spend an inordinate amount of time and effort pushing a Democratic Party view of "what's wrong with America" while pushing grossly inaccurate revisions of US History or not teaching history at all.

Janiyah's current school also appears to have no History, Social Sciences, Civics, or English classes.

Was it fake news that I read saying he was not giving a federal raise this year due to the economy not being strong or something?

Who wasn't given a raise? Not sure who he refers to.
