The bias comes from the fact that he seems (to my untrained, non-UCLA-following eye) that he gets stats against poorer teams, and then gets crushed when the competition increases. That's why I said I could be biased. Maybe the three tourney games I've watched of his in the last 2 years where he's been really exposed did it.
I could be way off on this. But to me, he's nowhere near the conversation. Just like he wasn't last draft (wasn't he projected after Ty Lawson and Mario Chalmers in the late-20's? And that's why he went back?
