Steve Nash: Zach Will Help Knicks

Randolph just needs to get back to being an efficient scorer, and hopefully he does that on the Knicks. Their defense obviously isn't any better because of him, but it isn't really much worse I guess, and the offensive boost is nice.

Curry and Randolph down low is gonna be big especially in the East.

This is going to be exciting to watch! I can see our scoring average going up to well above 100 points per game while hopefully keeping the defense at least right where it was.

I reckon this has the possibility to turn NY into a rather boring team to watch, if all they do is bring the ball up court and just dump it into Curry / Randolph in the post on every possession, which I get the feeling is the direction they're moving in.

Randolph and Curry are great low post scorers, but neither play a lick of defense. How is that going to affect the Knicks?

^Neither did Francis and Frye.

We just get an additional 20/10 player added to the offense.

Yeah, that's true. It's not like Francis and Frye were defensive stoppers anyways. I don't see them giving the ball up down low every play. I see them kicking it out to Q-Rich or Crawford.

the only thing is which randolph shows up, last year's or the year before's. When motivated he's an all-star, but when he's not he's just a large chunk of cash against the cap, not to mention he had knee surgery which is going to decrease his shelf life. It will obviously add more wins to the team and put them as a playoff contender but I want to see the long-term effects.
