I'm just curious what people think.

Would you try to trade Hendo/Kaman at some point this season? Would you leave things as they are and wait until next offseason to make moves?

I'm actually torn on the subject because on the one hand I want to be able to get some value for Kaman and possibly Henderson, but on the other I don't really see very many opportunities for playing time for whoever you could get (unless it's someone obvious like DeRozan.)

I would like to receive someone's dump, interspersed with draft picks, like peanuts, if you will.

I think once Hendo plays and we see what we've got, Neil will decide what he wants to do. I'm just not sure I'm buying that Kaman will be happy with zero playing time. The guy can still play. He's not a starter, obviously, but he can still contribute. I think he's saying all the right things, but I think he most likely has an arrangement with Neil.

No, you got to see if Henderson going fit with the rest of the team. Kaman your not going get much for him by himself but in a package deal he will be worth more. Then you wait to see injuries from other teams might bring you better offer in a trade.

We don't to make a trade at this point. We need to see exactly what eggs we have in our basket, then put them in different baskets.

We need to know what we have so we know who to keep(who fits) and who to doesn't but has value...keep our ears open and phones connected, and work to make our team a contender.

Let the rest (the unvaluable, untalented lot walk)

Those guys are spare points at this point, and I doubt they are in Portland's plays beyond this season. Maybe a contender would want them for a draft pick or another young prospect + salary dump?

Nah, we have the best roster in the league! Haven't you read some of the other threads on here?

I love playing devil's advocate to the grouchy pessimists of the world. :)

Here I will fix your post for you....

Yes, should trade everyone because everyone is a sucky player on our team that wont amount to anything regardless of how young and prospective their upside looks. Get rid of them all including the chucker Dame because he is a scrub who's lost his shooting touch and will NEVER get it back, because I know. Players never get better. They only get worse.

Just sayin man, keep it real. :)

We will be players in the next free agent market. In the meantime I want to see Gerald Henderson kick ass in a Blazer uniform.

I apologize for talking Blazers basketball, you can now return to talking about whether you would follow the team if they left Portland, what the dumbest arena name is, whether Lamar Odom will live or die, and who the most famous Blazer fan is.
Heheheheheh! Just chain jerking, Nate.

And no, I don't think we need to consider making a trade until we give the guys we have a chance to show what they can do and how well they can do it together.

I tend to agree with you, but at the same time I hate to waste resources. How are we going to find playing time for Henderson, CJ, AND Crabbe? I'm also concerned that Kaman won't be happy with zero playing time for an entire season.

All I know is that I'm too old to wait too long for a competitive team, so I want it to be a 3 year journey to a championship...I want Paul George on our team

Kaman is good insurance for injury and foul trouble, he's the only post threat we have on the team right now, and a good influence. And Henderson can split time with Crabbe, he'll fit in with a run and gun unit, and he fits in with the athletic tenacious roster.
