Exclusive Stotts... Can We Gameplan Better For Stars and Stop Giving Up Game Winners?

Tonight AD, Cousins AND Moore and Holliday went off. We didn't let that shit happen. And Jrue Holliday is former All Star. Not a role player. Geezus. I hate to say "Learn the game" but cmon...
Josh Smith will make his debut tonight. He's a former all star.

The key word here is former
He's just as good as he was then and he'd still be All Star if he stayed in Philly. There are too many Hall of Fame point guards in the West. Poor Mike Conley has never sniffed All Star game, how can Jrue?

That didn't happen. They fouled us.

And we have been on the other side of this. We spoiled Dirk's best game of the year last year when CJ hit a floater at the buzzer. Dame made game winning floater too against Denver.

I didn't say it happened, just that this is how you play to win tight games.

Only 1 player scored 40 against us this season and Horrible Lillard scored as much as Superstar Blake on Thursday.
Blake killed us down the stretch though and we should've made an adjustment.

Cousins had 39. Nice cutoff line though lol.

To continue with the theme of this thread, Booker put up 34 against us on 11/19 shooting and was a +5 in 34 minutes, meaning the Suns were -12 in the 14 minutes Booker was of the floor.

Not drawing any conclusions, but this seems to support Bones' notion that the defensive gameplan allows stars to shine, to the team's detriment.

We doubled him down the strech and got the ball out of his hand, holding PHO to 18 4th quarter points, so it seems to me like Stotts adjusted
