PorterIn2004, STOMP, Stepping Razor, Hap/Dan and Fork are the ones I'm most hoping get over here.

Also, Talkhard. I have a sick fascination with him and political threads won't be the same without him.

angrypuppy. Although a Laker fan, I find him to be intelligent and very conversational.

Its guys like DaRizzle and angrypuppy that destroy the myth that all Laker fans are bad. :biglaugh:

Talkhard and Yega. I know they have completely different views but I like having both in the Blazers
forum.

When I finally quit the ESPN board last year (I'd mostly quit it before then but still did predictions game there), there were still some good posters there. I wouldn't mind a few of them poking in over here.

Professional fan, TH, stomp, mgb, ythermino. There are others, but I would love to see them come over.

I had a discussion with the admin on BBF and after that converstation I'm not comfortable notifying posters about this board.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned over there that Ed is a mod here . . . I think some would come just on that fact alone, given the moderatiing on the other board. (Don't let that get to you head ed . . . it's all relative when it comes to mods :grin: )

I see some posters, like myself, post on both boards. Honestly I like the other board. I like the attitude and speed here, but I like the # posters and passion over there and the activity with other teams posters that come to the Blazer board during the season.

Don't want to cause controvesy, but which board will prevail during the season has yet to be determined (the way I percieve it). I hope it is this board because speed is a big issue to me as I haven't upgraded my computer for three years now and I think it runs a little slow. But the #1 issue to me will be the posters . . . I don't think the other board gets that, or maybe they don't have to get it because they have created such a dominant market for Blazer talk they can piss on us and we say thank you please don't ban me. : )

Believe me, other members who are fans of other teams will be posting here. Half of the Net board posts consists of other team's fans bitching about us. :wub:

I go to both boards still and like both boards. I'm not sure either which board will prevail maybe both. I do hope there are more posters on the other teams once the season starts. It is always nice to go to other team boards and see what might be up with their players or possible trade talk etc. I do hope this board prevails because of how they treat us and we do now have a lot of the old regulars from BBF. I'm still hopeful that quite a few more of the BBF posters and maybe even some from O-live or other boards come here. I'm in the same boat and there are people on the BBF I would like to invite but don't really want to cause any problems. The one thing I have noticed I have posted here more and less at BBF each day since joining S2. I'm not sure if it is because of the OT-forum or new people coming onboard all the time.

Anima posts here from time to time. She has gotten very busy with school, and last time I've spoken to her she is taking on some other things. I'm sure she'll be excited to see you here.

I think this forum will dominate. This same scenario played out the last time. Everyone from FanHome filtering over here but saying "I'll probably post on both forums." But as more people filtered out, the atmosphere on FanHome became more antagonistic and less productive in terms of basketball discussion. Plus, since almost all the main posters were definitely on the new forum and only partially on the other forum, there was a slow building momentum of "Why bother with both when I can talk to all the people I want on the new forum?"

It may go differently, but the amazing similarity so far makes my pattern-matching circuits light up.

I think if bnm comes over he should just go by Mastectomy. I know he is referring to Trader Bob, but for some reason that is just not what comes to mind for me.

Yeah. Last season when the team was in New Orleans, he introduced himself to me. He was cool. I ran into him on the road a couple other times also. His posts make you stop and wonder if he was beat as a child or hit in the head by a fast moving car, but he's just a fan with mad love for the Blazers.
