So the kids assumed if they killed the mind flayer/shadow monster that Will would die if the virus hadn't left him yet. So they get Will all hot and the virus leaves him, where did it go? Does it matter? Maybe it just dies off being disconnected. And now the gate is closed with the Shadow Monster still in the upside down. With that said, what would have happened if the virus remained in Will, but 11 closed the gate? Would the Shadow Monster still have been able to control Will?

Maybe she wouldn't have been able to close the gate. That or will would die...or go comatose till the door reopened

HOLD THE FUCK UP

are we not gonna talk about how episode 7 was pointless though?

so out of place, hated the episode though I understand it was done for character development, it felt rushed and the whole eleven in the city thing was fucking odd. Other than that, obviously loved the show because good show is good show

Yeah it felt like they were trying to turn 8 episodes into 9 and dragged out some character building for 11

Definitely out of place, but my guess is it will provide some plot lines for future seasons.

It opens the door for the return of the lost sister and other peeps with powers to appear in further episodes. It also reminded us a certain person thought dead is in fact still out there.

My son and I just started season 2 last night before the Blazer game. PS Vue makes it so that it has to finish recording before you can watch it from the beginning. So I waited for the game to be over and watched a couple episodes of stranger things. They're pretty good but I'm staying out of this thread to avoid spoilers.

he could be, they left that open ended kinda. You don't really know if he died season one. I kinda thought he was but there are some loopholes that they could write him back into the show for a surprise. At this point I am curious what the duffer brothers are thinking up for season 3. They left it open for pretty much anything happening with how it ended

11 having a teenage angst moment in the city wasn't the highlight of the show, and while it seems superfluous, it was necessary for what she was able to do in the end. She learned how focus and control her power while there with the other girl. But, yeah, it seemed to introduce a whole ton of new characters a bit unnecessarily.

With that said, the show gets almost everything right. It's in complete control of its tone, feel, a general color palette. I could watch more of it every day.

Yeah but I felt maybe they could of done that differently. That whole episode honestly lost me. It was the stand alone weird eleven episode where she goes to the city for a night.

It was my least favorite part of the show, but at least it didn't last long.

I highly recommend that everyone watches Beyond Stranger Things on Netflix. It's Netflix's version of Talking Dead but for Stranger Things. You have the Duffer Brothers and almost all of the cast talking about the show throughout the 9 7 twenty minute episodes. It answers a ton of questions that you guys have been asking in this thread especially about that stand alone episode for 11.

It makes sense for him to be in the series finale...

I think it was to easy. She learned to control her anger in like 1 minute, 1 small scene...right....too rushed

That sucks. He's a good character and featured heavily in the central plot. I wonder how they will try to get around this.

They'll just have him get conveniently eaten by a demogorgon

I agree fully. It didn't diminish the overall quality of the show for me though. Just a slight hiccup.

I'm sure most viewers anxiously wanted to get to the next part and gave it little thought or forgave it rather easily

Or Sean Astins annoying ass character can explode out of his body ressurected, to further irritate us.

Who wants to tag Dviss1 in another thread and drop a spoiler on him? I was gonna do it with a Winona Ryder is the queen of the upside down universe or something like that.

Too bad shes not...maybe next season
