Who was your go to character?

I usually played Guile, then Ryu.

I was pretty good. Not the best, but I could hold my own at the arcades around town

Same lol turbo

Where did you play?

I usually played at the 7/11 across from Jesuit or Family Fun Center on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway (I think it's Chinatown restaurant now). Sometimes I'd go to Clackamas Town Center too. Lol

There was this viet dude named "Ray" who was basically unbeatable. He sometimes played with his hands behind his back, it was nuts.

Wunderland. But can't for the life of me remember where it was.

I used to at the Lake Oswego one. Washington Square too. I remember playing more with quarters tho, lining them up on the screen

Lake Oswego that was it. Behind whats now trader Joe's. Best thing about was everything was nickels.

I played Gary Trent there at a hoops video game (i think it was called Give and Go) his rookie year. Also played Arch Rivals against Uncle Cliffy at the Washington Square one

That's awesome. I'm sure spliffy lit you up.

Used to love SF2. I grew up in Vegas and there was a 7-11 up the street from my house. My finest moment, I went to Costa Rica with my parents to visit family and we went to an arcade. I was like 8. I only had one dollar and I didn’t even need the three other quarters after I started. I cleaned house. Chun-Li, Guile, or Ryu.

Dhalsim then Ryu

Growing up, it was Ryu or Vega. Now in my late 30s, if for some reason I ever get to play those games again, I like using Vega and Chun-Li, and it's also really fun to destroy as Zangief.

That place right off of I5/217 ramp close to Trader Joe’s?

Crazy how that closed probably like 25 years ago now.

There’s a good Gyro place over there now. Owned by a family from Jordan, really chill people. Called hush hush cafe. The chicken Schwarma is amazing, I get it in a wrap.
