Well, I am now taking Stress-relief pills aka Anti-depressants. I don't really want to talk about what led to it, but I wanted to know if anyone else is familiar with it.It's more for stress, like I said. I am not Emo or anything.

Which med did your doctor prescribe to you and what do you want to know about it? By the way, there's no reason to be ashamed of taking depression meds.

Best thing for stress is a blunt followed by a newport. it clears all your worries away for the rest of your days. F*ck taking pills, all natural. nowadays I gotta skip that blunt part though.

Someone was telling me you could die from it, but I figured that was obvious because you can die from overdosing on anything. Which obviously, I don't plan on doing.

I'm guessing you were prescribed Wellbutrin. There's another commercial drug version of bupropion called Zyban which is used to help people stop smoking. Obviously if you feel your symptoms getting worse or it makes you feel sick or dizzy, stop taking it and talk to your doctor. It could take weeks before you start feeling comfortable with what the drug is doing for you, so if you don't feel much of a difference at first, don't get discouraged.

sh*t man if it was anything I ever said about kobe im sorry....

Like 60% of my school is on antidepressants (because we're a predominantly asian and jewish school). It'll get better from here, nobody stays truly depressed for a very long time.

Sometimes taking anti-depressants can cause you to contemplate suicide. I know this because my brother used to be on them.

Sure, there's a correlation betwixt anti-depressants and suicide but that's because there's a high correlation between anti-depressants and depression and a correlation between depression and suicide. So your brother was probably contemplating suicide because he was depressed and the pills weren't potent enough.

People have been known to kill themselves while on certain anti-depressants. The pills can make you think about it more.

But, if that 60% is true over there it's sad that so many teens have to be on antidepressants because of school

Seriously, I'd say 70% of the American population suffers from anxiety or depression at least once in their lifetime. I'd be willing to bet on that

ya I got prescribed stress pills about two days ago because ive been having panic attacks so your not alone. So far the only side effects ive been having is that im often tired after I take the medication.

Glad to see that there is another member here who suffers from stress atacks. I have the same thing too, but its not really depression. I just cant stop worrying about the randomest sh*t, and it really is worse than any physical pain Ive ever been in. And I have dislocated my shoulder before, while tearing a bunch of muscle in that area....Emotional pain is just the biggest bi*ch in the world. I havnt taken any medicine yet, but it is at a controlled rate now. usually it doesn't stop me from doing fun things. Movies, sometimes I get it....but when Im with friends or at school with friends, im fine...playing sports too...One of the things that helps me is listening to music...it takes my mind off of it, and it really comforts me. Also, thinking about all the fun times Ive had in the past year or two...that really puts me in a good mood, and I usually just forget about anxiety.I should probably look into meds though, because I want this sh*t gone forever. Sometimes I take week long breaks from having anxiety, but it comes back every time eventually.

I'm familiar with depression. But it's nothing that a good diet and exercise can't fix. For me, that is.
