Kidd was on last years NBA all-defense second team, he is an elite defender at PG or SG, if Kobe were to average 40 ppg against him, Kidd wouldn't give Kobe any open looks, and Kobe would be on 39% shooting and at the Lakers' expense.

Poor Mavs, at least they still have the great Devean George, hahahaha! I want the Mavs to make it, we need that pick. But maybe they end up falling apart and dismantling by next year, in which case, next year's pick is unprotected right? The West is so good that if you slip even a little, you're looking at a 50-loss season.

Big loss last night... instead of a 3 game lead on Denver and having the tiebreaker they now are only 1 game up and Denver has the tiebreaker. Not looking like they are going to make it. Damn I want that pick this year. No guarantee they will be worse next season.

I tell ya, if that Denver team can learn to play defense they will be very dangerous because they have a ton of firepower.
