Please don't tell me the Steelers are one of them.
Jets, Patriots, Ravens, Steelers

I was in Salem. I thought I had told you guys that?
Jets, Patriots, Ravens, Steelers
Steelers aren't better than the Falcons, Saints, Chicago and maybe even the Packers and Eagles are better than the Steelers.
My buddies are Steeler fans so I've watched most of their games this year. They simply aren't as good as people think. The should of lost to Buffalo and Miami. The Cincinnati game was a joke how they handled it at the end.
They are going to get beat handily by the Ravens tonight IMO.
Every team has games that they "should have lost". It's just the way the NFL is. I would rather face all those teams you mentioned over Pittsburgh.
Looks like Big Ben is getting fucked up by the Ravens D early. Nice
That's not what I was saying. Your claim was the NFC is better because the Saints won the SB last year, so that must mean the Falcon(s) aren't a playoff team because that's how they finished last year. And last year (and three yrs ago) is the best way to judge this year, correct?
I'm just saying that, year in and year out, most everyone claims that the AFC is the better conference. I'm simply saying that what really counts is SB's, where the NFC has certainly held its own.
I'd be curious, though, what the overall inter-conference record is between the AFC and NFC thus far this season.
Yeah, I am talking about this year, exclusively. I thought the Saints were the best team all year last year. But the year they sent 9-7 Arizona to the SB was an embarrassment.
BTW MickZagger, how about those Steelers?
Now you know why I want the NBA to go more towards an NFL system as to how they run the teams as opposed to how baseball does it. Every year in football teams turn it around and are competitive, Atlanta is a prime example of that Teams can quickly retool and get back into competitive mode because they have the freedom to do so. What was a bad team can turn it around in a few years because they have the ability to cut players as they please and pick up free agents. Meanwhile basketball is still thinking of revenew sharing, in which it actually pays to have a bad team. As long as that system is in place, some teams will never be competitive.
As much as you don't want to admit it, there's always a large amount of probability involved in football.
A one game sample size means, erratic results.
16 game sample size and completely uneven scheduling isn't much better
I'm viewing Atlanta as a top 4 team now, definitely. Patriots, Falcons, Ravens, Steelers. No particular order.
Funny how a lot of people are sleeping on the Saints. That team has got healthy again and are winning under the radar, especially for a defending SB champion. That defense is suddenly looking like the same big play defense they had last year. Brees is clicking on all cylinders as well.

That said, they still should have lost to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.![]()
That was an example of that big play defense I was talking about. Not necessarily the most physical, or stingiest.
But, they make big plays at big times. Case in point, Tracey Porter in the SB last year. Darren Sharper's play all of last year. Also, Jonathon Vilma is one of the most underrated linebackers in the game.

I wonder what the line will be for the 27th? If I weren't gonna be in SLC, I'd see if you wanted to catch the game at a local watering hole.![]()
