I've grown quite bored of the albums currently on my Fuze, I want to put some more shit on there, but I don't know what. Some of the albums I do have are Shogun (Trivium), A Sense of Purpose (In Flames), Indestructible (Disturbed), Believe (Disturbed), The Sound of Madness (Shinedown), etc. So that's the music I'm looking for.

Suggest me some new shit to put on there, I've been looking for new music for a while, but don't know where to look.

Listen to this song. You'll love it!

"Crush" by David Archuleta

this song is awesome!

LOL I wasn't really looking for R&B (or whatever that shit was).

I think I need to clarify something: I hate R&B, don't like rap too much.

This stuff is old, but I had never heard of it until I heard a Drowning Pool song called enemy on the radio six months ago.

I found out that the current Drowning Pool singer was in a band called Soil.

He kinda screams but sings at the same time. I usually really really really really hate that but somehow I love this stuff.

There are two good Soil cd's with this singer...Redefine and Scars.

I like the stuff listed in the original post but this stuff is just awesome to me, the perfect mix of melody and anger somehow.

The video doesn't work...never linked a youtube before must be doing something wrong. ??

edit..the vid works if you click the blue bar on top..weird.

I actually do listen to Drowning Pool. Not a huge McCombs fan though, Sinner was their best album by far.

I've heard Enemy, its alright.

Crocodile Rock by Elton John

Guaranteed to be different from anything you have on your Fuze :D

I listen to R&B and Rap so I'm no help here.

Arcturus
Blind Guardian
Dark Tranquility
Dream Theater
Demons & Wizards
Evergrey
Insomnium
Kataklysm
Lord of Mushrooms
Mind's Eye

You may not care for him too much, but the dude knows how to put on a good show. I saw them at Lazerfest this summer and they were one of the best acts there. He also does Dave Williams justice when they do songs off sinner. As for my recommendations...I'll just throw bands out there, no songs in particular.

Destrophy
Avenged Sevenfold
36 Crazyfists
The Human Abstract
A Dozen Furies
Atreyu
Black Tide
Bullet for my Valentine
Easteighteen
Five Finger Death Punch
Ill Nino
Index Case
Kamelot
Killswitch Engage
Machine Head
Mushroomhead
Nonpoint
Hurt
Rise Against
Rev Theory
The Showdown
Sick Puppies
Sinch
Soilwork
Steromud
Sw1tched
Tantric
Taproot
10 Years

I'm sure you've heard a good chunk of these bands, but oh well. If you want any more recommendations from me, I'm sure I can find more. These are just some of the bands on my iTunes, and my iTunes only has about half my CDs on it.

alright I need some new music too.

I recently got a ton of Alice in chains.. if you haven't listened to them definitely check them out.
"man in the box" "rooster" and "Down in a Hole " are a must (I'll try and find you a VERY good video of Man in the Box ;) )

Also if you like rock as well as hard rock, I'd recommend The Dave Matthews Band.

Here's a few of his vids.

It takes a few listenings to get into Matt Good IMO, but check the vids out, tell me what you think

if you like Punk/Rock stylings, I'd suggest Billy Talent. Takes a few listenings but they have some really good songs too.

Fallen Leaves

If its not too much of a pain... could you one of two songs I should most check out for each of those? When just given a band name, I don't really know what song to look for.

faith no more- caffeine (live) You can hear the influence of these guys to this day, and this particular song still sound relevant in modern day:

Some some songs from the Metallica's new album or LP's

Listen to Blur. "Modern Life is Rubbish" and then "The Great Escape"

Do you realise that every band you have named are on the Madden 09 soundtrack?
Try Hell Yeah by Rev Theory

Have you given Pantera a real listen yet like I said you should?

really love a lot of Pantera songs. Fucking hostile and Cowboys from Hell being 2 favs.

the lead singer's voice isn't annoying either.. which is good considering how many bad singers there are in metal.

Phil Anselmo's voice before all the drugs was awesome. In case you didnt know Pantera was a glam metal band before Cowboys from Hell....nobody's perfect

lol, did not know that. glam metal was popular in the 80's.

what'd you think of the Matt Good vids I posted on page 1?
not has hardcore, but he's one of those guys who grow on you after a couple of listens.

any other good metal/hard rock I should check out? I like Pantera/Metallica/Godsmack type stuff for the most part.
