What if we have a vote? Everyone with a certain amount of posts gets to vote for ten people. Could also give more votes according to post count.

The Blazers have offered us a suite for a game this year. We need to come up with 3-5 dates and see if they can make one of them happen. Also a suite holds 20 and seats 16 people. That means it has to be limited to 20 people.

We need to figure out:

1. What dates might work. (We should probably avoid premier games like GS and Cavs.)

2. How do we select who gets to go. Drawing for 20 people? Drawing for 10 people so winners can bring a guest? 20 highest donations to me? Let Mrs HCP pick her 19 favorite? (If we go with this we'd have to invite her.) Or we can go with the Full Mags option and allow only those who promise to vote for Trump?

I'm throwing this out to all of you for your thoughts and input. If we can't come up with something reasonable then Denny and I will decide who and when.

Any night in the next 2 months that is not a wednesday works for me, personally.

And I think a drawing is good IF we get enough people. 12 and 8 guests? 10 and 10?

I count 25 people, including Denny and sly that have posted in here so I'm assuming everyone has interest that has posted.

What if people have to throw $5 (just an estimate, could be more depending on which game, cost, where the seats are....personally I'd be ok with 300 section watching a game with you knuckleheads) in so that we have a raffle of those who get to go into the suite, the others will get seats purchased for them together as a group so everyone gets to at least be at the game. We could even make everyone do the raffle at a restaurant before the game where it's mandatory we all drink a beer together

Pick a game a week or so in advance of the game that we would be attending, have everybody interested in going do a prediction in a special thread just for that game, and the top 20 finishers get to attend the game.

Great idea, except for homers like me who can't ever provide a realistic prediction.

This would be a separate thread from the usual prediction game one. The homers would be allowed to make a "real" prediction without screwing up their homer status.
