Is this year's Blazers Summer League team better than last year's?

Luc Mbah A Moute is who I'd go after at this point.

have you looked at his playoff stats? They were horrible.
Because guys shot well with him on the floor? I dunno, but +/- isn't always a product of a players level of play.

I understand to a certain degree, but does have some value as he had 8 rebounds as well as 5 assists to help those numbers.

That would be nice up grade at the 4 coming off the bench. Zach can move be the back up to Nurk.

Take a look at his playoff stats last year. I don't think that's the kind of vet with playoff experience we need. The guy can't shoot

On the flip side, his 2-8 shooting and 5 turnovers hurt I dunno. Wish we took Kuzma.

.

I believe Luc Mbah A Moute was hurt during the playoffs. He has had problems with his right shoulder for 2 or 3 seasons.

If he could stay healthy, he would help us.

My gut tells me his shoulder problems are going to get worse, not better. But that is only my uneducated guess.

That's also true, I forgot about that.

Let's start planning the parade route. Seriously, with GSW all but guaranteed the next 3 or 4 championships, we should thumb our nose at the noncompetitive nature of the NBA and celebrate our hard earned summer league success.

Of course the national media would mock us as soccer moms, but fuck them. The joke would be on them. They just wound't realize it.

So what you are saying is we should just suit up Dame, CJ, and Nurk too? Might as well just dominate.

Nah, we don't need them. I just watched the replay of the LAL v. CHI. Jeezus H. that was painful to watch. What a fucking shit show. So, little talent on both sides. The score looks like a high school game - a BAD high school game.

The Lakers may be 2-0 in Vegas, but no way in hell are they getting the repeat.

The Bulls are even worse. Their leading scorer had 12 points. Nobody else cracked double figures.

They were interviewing Fred Hoiberg during the first half. It was the first time I've actually appreciated a talking head taking up half the screen and talking over the live action.

I like the confidence, but if we are going to do this right I think we need to just go all-in.

You know, now that I think about it I am questioning your commitment to seeing this parade.

Individual Stats:
Jake Layman is 13th in scoring, 11th among those who have played 2 games.
Biggie is in a 3-way tie for 7th in rebounding, 5th among those who have played 2 games.
Baldwin is 3rd in assists.
Collins is 2nd in blocks.
Our leading average minutes guy is Biggie, who is 65th in the league. (so, we're not forcefeeding minutes to anyone, at least not yet.)

I got done rewatching the game I just focus on Trent and Simons defense.

Trent had very good game on D yesterday I only seen once where he got burn on someone driving the ball.
Simons also did job on D but get to up right need stay down more and that will come with experience and coaching. One thing I have seen with both players is get caught on screens but both attempt to get back in the play. Both players plays the lane really well.

They both seemed like they were playing hard, too. The whole team was, really.
