I actually had some black guy yell at me at the movies, with 3 of my children in tow, because he was behind me in line and asked if he could go in front of me because he was "meetin' his posse" inside to "roll up on some shit". I said no because he irritated me, and he told me it was typical for a white man to oppress a young black man. I turned to Jantone and told him, in front of the idiot, that if he ever spoke like that he would be grounded for a week.

We had more words because he was trying to fill Jantone's head with a bunch of stuff. LOL my youngest son, who will play middle linebacker or strong safety someday, told the guy to shut up and stop messing with his brother.


Best part of the story, is that the theatre let us in free because of the hassle. The guy actually came up later and apologized. Said he was running late. I think he changed his tune when he realized the black kid with me was my son

heres a suggestion

when a flame war breaks out just move all of their posts to a new thread titled "so and so and so and so's super cool drama queen face off to the death" with a poll to determine who is the winner

that way they get their own thread and anyone who wants to watch can go in and check it out

I agree. Give them their own thread so they don't keep ruining existing ones.

I tried doing this not even 1 month ago, http://sportstwo.com/threads/216314-The-Papa-G-and-Mick-Zagger-insults-and-arguments-thread and ended up having to apologize via PM because someone got upset over this.

Also a few days later when I had to edit a personal insult in a different thread that person wanted to know why I was removing their insults when I was leaving Papa G and Zags insults alone.

2 months ago I offered to take both of them to lunch to see if they could put an end to their differences.

Please, that doesn't make a lot of sense. Remember, one of the things that makes S2 different is the lack of rules. Up until 2 weeks ago we pretty much had one rule and that was no personal insults. (since then we've also had to add a no dick pic rule.) No Personal Insults. If someone insults you send me or another mod a PM and we'll remove it for you. Tell that person to stop it via PM yourself, insult them all you want in a PM but please, no more insult after insult after insult after insult in the forum.

LOL! No offense taken. I was just pointing out that many of us have tried hard to fix this problem and like you've seen the fixes sometimes create more problems.
