Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

If you can get Papa G and Mick Zagger to show up I will happily buy you lunch. (just don't tell them that we also invited the other one, we'll let it be a surprise)

How fucking rad would that be, though? No really.

I would totally bring printed quotes each have said, just to play Canzano and stir shit up real nice and thick.

They would probably laugh and have a good time.

And then fight in the parking lot.

LoL... I'm guessing you knew I was being sarcastic, but this last part made me laugh.

I was hoping you were but I figured it was better if I gave you a serious answer first.

That would be fantastic! Funny thing is that I'm working a lot now in the 'Couve. Had lunch today at Jimmy John's on 78th.

"Your wife is a fat and ugly bitch!"

"Your girlfriend is a hooker and looks like a skank!"

I'm not sure which is worse, but after bringing my kids back into it, Zags kind of lost the "high road" act he likes to play.

That's a shitty drive. Hope you're not driving through there at rush hour times. Did that for months at a time for several years as I had a client in Vancouver that I audited and helped with financial prep. That was not a fun drive from Wilsonville to the Couve during rush hour, whether I took I-5 or 205. Basically everything from the Couve south past downtown or Mall 205 (depending on which freeway I took) was shitty.

I'm working on a project at one of the bigger food processors up there. I'll be there 3 days a week for at least the next year. Having not spent any time at all there until last week, I can say this.

I've never seen more wife beater shirts, or more skinny freaks lurking outside of stores, than I've seen in Vancouver over the last 3 days or so. Somebody tell me that there is actually a part of that city west of I-5 that isn't a total meth lab. I do have to say this, though. The LA Fitness on 78th that I went to over lunch today was very clean, and actually had some professional people in it, and everybody seemed to have their shit together during a noon game of hoops. I guess the 'enormous' $20/month fee weeds out the freaks. :)

It's El Camino central.

LA Fitness and Jimmy John's. Its like you googled my hangout spots. Skinny freaks are all the rage. I guess skinny is a relative term though.

Free lunch? I'm all for that. Count me in!

Wow, I just had a post outright deleted for no reason. At least edit it Sly, even though I said nothing bad, other than there were a bunch of 5'8" bald guys at the gyms in tank tops.

Not deleted, it was moved.

I'll let you guess where.

Those are the Hot Cops

Here is thread with what posters were feeling after summer league last year. Forgot that Nolan Smith had a good summer league but do remember posters were digging Leonard after summer league. This thread turns into another battle between Nate and papag, but before that there were some good thoughts about the players and summer league.

I also took the time to look at the thread about grading the draft last year (don't ask why, I don't know) . . . poster were pretty dead on with most loving the Lillard pick and not so crazy about the leonard pick.

I don't like how some posters tend to discredit other posters who don't agree with them . . . but take this board as a whole, there is a lot of good analysis going on. Grading the draft was pretty accurate and looks like most were on to Babbit after summer league even though Blazer media was pimping him throughout summer and pre-season.

Did anyone take up PapaG on his $100 bet that Babbitt would be in the league in 2013-2014? That could have been easy money.

I already paid $200 to ToB for the presidential election. Too bad you didn't have the balls to take the Babbitt bet. It may have bought a few more dinners at Red Robin.

Shit, I figured we'd hold onto him for some unknown reason...
