Hearing all these great things the last few days about our rookies is really getting me excited. Someone remind me, "It's only summer league."

95-81 Nets, but more importantly...CDR and Lopez were illin. I never thought a summer league game would be entertaining like that.

Nets win 95-81 my mom came into the room and I didn't want her pestering me that I don't study enough that's why the commentary died lol

From what I saw (2nd half) Sean was doing well on both sides of the court. Hodge was aggressive and looked pretty good. Anderson was not so good from what I saw. Threw a nice pass to Lopez but was not hitting much from outside this game.

D & G are morons. Nets win. Brook dominates & CDR played excellent on both side of the court. I remember Pegs and some others not liking the Nets taking Brook with the 10th pick.. LOL He is proving all of you WRONG.

Anderson had a bad game. Swat played good once again.

Anderson really didn't get that many opportunities from what I saw, though he didn't help himself, I didn't see him trying to get open like he did the last two games.

Relax, I recall Antoine Wright averaging 18ppg in summer league two years ago.

This is not a measuring stick but its nice to see him dominating the scrubs so that is something.

Question re Brook: Have there been any legit 6'11" or taller players guarding him in any of these games? And does he appear to be doing his damage in the post mostly because of superior physicality or because of finesse moves, or both?

He had 6-10 Nick Lewis on him tonight and Gortat who is 7 feet when they played Orlando. No clue who covered him when they played the Heat.

Hes just taller and stronger than all these guys but at the same time hes showing some nice post moves in there. He has a nice arc on his jumper and some nice footwork. Overall, I like what I see.

It's...it's....it's....Brook Lopez for starting center! I think the hype has already gotten to me.

I'd be interested in Ryan Anderson. NBA success story, or successful of SL competition?

I'm not quite sure about the size of his defenders but Brook is showing some nice skill and scoring touch on the offensive end (more than I thought he had when they drafted him). He even hit a long jumper a step inside the 3 point land *swish*. Also dropped a Kareem sky hook to beat the shot clock.

i like ryan anderson the best out of the 3 rooks
but ill continue to root for all!

i wish these dumbasses would at least tell me who has the ball and who scores..

has anyone else been impressed by Anthony Tolliver? he's only 23, played well in the D-League last year, and I thought he'd done well so far. He looks like he could play either forward spot.

I like him too. He can post up and play some tough D. I wouldnt mind him on the team. Only thing we are loaded with Bigs right now. Maybe if a trade went down it would help his cause.

So can someone confirm whether or not Vince was at the game today? I know he invited the SL team to his house last summer. Was hoping he'd do the same this year to promote team chemistry.

Here's the official game recap. http://www.nba.com/magic/news/New_Jersey_d...-277382-66.html

I especially liked this part:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>With Vince Carter looking on and even joining the team in the huddle, Brook Lopez and Chris Douglas-Roberts led the Nets to their second victory in three games this week, netting 22 and 20 points apiece, respectively, to pace five players for New Jersey in double figures.</div>

It's a great sign, to me, that he showed up to watch the youngsters and be supportive. I don't know of many 10 year vets that have ever done that.

I can't say anything of his days in Toronto... But since joining the Nets VC has been great. On and off the court.

I've come to expect that of him now... I love it. One more reason I don't want to trade him now.

I also expect the 5 guys in double digits too.

The most important thing that happened in this game is that Ronell Taylor touched Donnell Taylor and there was no rip in the space-time continuum.
