OK, since PapaG seems to be gone for awhile; i think I will bring up the idea of Larry Sanders again. A writer in Milwaukee thinks they might pair up John Henson or Brandon Knight with him just to get rid of him. here is one idea; Dorell Wright, McCollum, Leonard and Claver for Sanders and Knight. Sure it is a gamble and they would need to do some investigating and decision-making on whether a different coach would do better with Sanders. Maybe they are so anxious to get rid of him that they would take without McCollum?

This requires two trades to get it to work financially so you have to look at them as one trade; We would be gaining a stretch four, a possible madman shotblocker and an offensive point guard who should be a big improvement defensively. Only giving up one guy (McCollum) who would ever have the chance of being more than a role player in the NBA.

I'd like that and if he is really available would do it. It sounds like they wanted a high lottery pick for him if he was even available; not sure what we have unless they REALLY, REALLY want to get rid of Sanders. For some reason i am having more trouble making a trade with Henson and Sanders work on the trade machine.

I don't know. I would guess they view him as somebody who might just flame out or someone who might adversely affect team morale; and Portland would have to worry about that also.

Interesting idea. The package of Blazer players you put together doesn't look real attractive. But if a team is looking to get rid of player, the Blazer package does have 3 expiring contracts and some young potential.

Blazers will have a lot of money to play with next summer and this would bite into it. But if Sanders can be the player he shown in the past, maybe the Blazers don't wait till next summer. Come trade deadline, especially if McCollum shows something . . . that Blazer package could have a lot of value.

Clearly taken way too high by Cho but I think the time is right to snatch Biyombo from the Hornets.

Zeller/Jefferson/Vonleh -- there won't be a lot of minutes to go around with the development of Zeller and Vonleh. Cho views Zeller as their future center.

Tis season Biz improved: PER, TS%, eFG%, FTr, ORB%, DRB%, TRB%, BLK%, ORtg, DRtg, OWS, DWS, WS and WS/48 this season.

I don't see the point in doing a sign and trade for Avery Bradley; I wouldn't want him for more than the MLE. I doubt Boston matches our offer so just get him to sign and we keep our other assets.

Try to jump in as the 3rd team in other teams trades as we did last year getting Rolo and TRob. No we don't have cap space this year but we might be able to flip a young guy or future pick into a more useful veteran.

But we really need to see what free agents we add here first before getting active with trades... what if we have chances to sign two great big men? Then we don't need to acquire any bigs. What if we sign two great PG options? Or two great wings? I think Neil should try to add the best free agents he can first and if the roster needs positional balance afterwards then he should pull the trigger on a deal.

question, would you rather have Hawes or Pau for a sign and trade? I actually think Hawes is a better fit (outside shooting) at this stage of their careers, he's a lot younger and would probably like returning to the PNW as opposed to Pau

It would change the whole dynamic of the team. The offensive philosophy in particular. Not saying it is not a good idea, but I doubt they would try it.

The Nets are a complete mess right now.

The time is ripe.

Mirza Telotovic is severely underrated. With 20+ mpg last season he averaged double-figure points and shot above 40% from three. IMO, he's a better version of Channing Frye.

He's already 28 and has a ton of experience under his belt playing overseas.

I didn't realize he played without shoes? It really doesn't matter for a backup SF/PF. What other team has a post up back up PF that he would have trouble guarding? And his arms are long as hell
