Why am I not surprised. Girardi's "resting" players so early in the season really pisses me off.

Especially when they're just finding there stroke. I mean do you really need both Ackley & Torreyes in the lineup today against the White Sox.

Exactly, Ellsbury and Gardner are identical at this point in their careers. Hicks is just getting is timing, he is young and has a gun in the outfield despite recent routes.
 
Ellsbury is a nightmare of a contract. Signed four more years at $21 million a year for what?
 
Tanaka's last two starts are like the complete opposite of his first 6 starts.
 
Gonzales has been off the mark all day and these clowns still can't get it done. Per Homer Harrelson the White Sox have not taken a series at Yankees Stadium since August of '05. Law of averages will apply if the stripers don't get it together.

It shows you how bad this offense really is. This White Sox pitcher has been terrible. Frankly, it's a bunch of idiots always swinging out of their shoes.

I'm flipping back n forth b/t YES and MLB. Homer Hawk Harrelson as an announcer is as bad as they come.

Hawk: "put A-Rod in this line up, and these guys can hit, they're dangerous",
really fkng really, we're still waiting for the bats to wake up....
 
Congrats Carlos Beltran on becoming the 54th player to reach 400 career homers.
 
Beltran coming up big time. And Tanaka is off the hook.
