As we hammered home two nights ago, losing to Golden State was horrible because Nate can't motivate the team and doesn't make adjustments against the Warriors. We also were very upset with the defensive scheme.

Tonight, Nate had an incredible game plan and got the team prepared to play hard. The defense was great and it helped us beat a historically great home team.

I'm sure I'm not the only one on cloud nine after tonight!

This historically great home team has been playing like crap lately on the road and at home.

They just beat the Lakers.

I'm just going off the fact that we used historical records against the Warriors to prove how bad of a loss the GSW game was to help me determine that this is a great win by the Blazers.

Do I really think it was an amazing win? Who knows.

I just think its funny how last game was such a big loss, even though last I checked, it holds as much value as every other loss. If we beat the Warriors byt lost to the Thunder would everyone have said we're screwed? Probably not.

This was the 5th loss in a roll for Utah at home. GS has a good record at home, while a terrible one on the road so getting beat by them, no getting our butts kick, at home was pretty bad.

Well it certainly takes away from the Thunder win just like when we beat Orlando and the Heat only to lose to a bad team, but what hurts with the GS game is we no longer control finishing 6th.

So it doesn't matter to you if our opponent is the world champion Lakers or the Cavaliers in the midst of a 25-game losing streak? A loss to either team would feel the same to you?

If so, you're a very unusual fan.

I didn't think yesterday's game was "superb." Until Wallace made those two threes in the fourth quarter, we were shooting 2-13 from the field, and were running in yet another <15pt quarter against a bad defensive team. It's sad to see this team so inept offensively when guys start clanking threes. A team this dependent on outside shooting will not fare well in the playoffs.

I'm glad we won, but I hate to say that I could see that Utah team being pretty good next year. They seem to have a lot of young talent that just needs some seasoning together. It's too bad (for them) that Sloan left.

There is a cloudy lining in every piece of silver.

It was SO strange to look at the Utah bench and not see Jerry Sloan sitting there. In my mind, "Utah" and "Sloan" go together like bread and butter.
