47 half Over Under. Thank you Patrick Mahomes for the TD. Under winner by half point

Seahawks fans have troll ammo ready for Niners fans. It will be ugly in the NW. Best idea is to stick with Ducks football.

Next we'll find out you really live in Guam instead of Hawaii.

nah brah. I just rolled through that “Honolulu” earthquake that was 5 miles from my house like a champ, thank you very much.

oh, and Honolulu 250 miles from my house.

Had the 49ers won, I would have been the first to congratulate them.

Honestly I'm just not even surprised. I knew it would happen this way.

After watching the Ducks choke away the big games and watching the Niners choke away big games, I basically expect it.

The defense played their heart out. Losing Greenlaw changed the feel of the game. The offense just didn't get it done, especially in the third quarter. Mega choke job. Props to the rookie kicker. He hit three huge field goals. It pisses me off that some people are mad at him for having the PAT blocked.

The fumble on the punt was a total fluke. Shit happens.

It was the offense getting absolutely nothing done in the third that lost the game. Period.

It was a hell of a game. The Niners defense was strong even without Greenlaw (tripping on the sidelines was a shitty way to go out) and did a great job taking away the Chiefs offense. Kelce barely did anything. Pacheco almost cost his team the game. Only the second overtime in super bowl history. Kyle Shanahan just happened to have the bad luck of being on the losing side of both of those. I thought the Niners were going to pull it out. They are pretty much a super team. They just have a young QB who needs more experience. I'm sure they will be back.

The niners need to pull money out of the D Line and reinvest in the o line.

Their D line is held all the time. The NFL isn't going to call holding on every single play. So teams hold them on every single play. What else can they do?

Put that money in the O Line because Purdy had hardly any time to do anything.

If there is holding on every play, call holding on every play.

There are rules for a reason.

Niners got away with a lot of holding too

My Niners have been my team for almost as long as the Blazers have. I thought today might bring me some solace in the reality that one of my two teams would experience the ultimate success while the other is wallowing in the dregs of its league. Well today didn't go that way and I find no relief in a close second. This season as a Niners fan was a lot more fun than any season has been as a Blazers fan in the last 20+ years but in the end it ended in heartbreak. Go Niners!!! Go Blazers!!!

The big takeaway from this game is that the game was decided between the players.

There wasn't anything that gave the chiefs any kind of advantage. Thought the game was called fairly. No controversy. Love that, and I think the refs deserve some respect for that.

As a Huskies fan, watching both my football teams lose championships back to back is unbelievable.

I feel the same way, you figure the teams you follow should win at least a few of the title appearances they make it to, not to mention, the cases where the conference title game is the championship (like the 2000 Blazers Lakers/Early 90's Cowboys/49ers).

I am Blazers: 0-3
Ducks - 0-2
49ers 1-5

It's why I went into the game assuming Mahomes was going to lead a last second winning drive and there would be several "the football gods hate us" moments that sealed our fate.

The 49ers have pro-bowlers all over the offense and their offense is ultimately what failed them in the end. And it's very hard to sustain that level of talent in the NFL. This was the year to get it done.
