I can honestly say that I'm probably less excited/interested in this Superbowl than any other I can think of. Nonetheless, I'll be watching. Still considering going to a friend's crib and watching the game from their hot tub.

That said...

Are there certain friends and/or family members you like to hang with?

Are you going to someone else's home?

Are you staying home and entertain?....or, perhaps, watching the game alone?

Do you have any special rituals and/or special food/drink treats you like to prepare or look forward to chowing down on?

Do you anticipate the commercials?

Perhaps..........just perhaps......you don't care in the slightest, and won't be watching the game at all..................

Throwing a party. Just bought a new TV yesterday. Samsung 51 inch smart tv for $700. Thought it was a crazy deal. Making home made cole slaw, pulled pork, and some home made ice cream. Pretty stoked for the event, but not sure on the game.

Sounds sweet! I lived in Atlanta for 12 years and your food choices sound very familiar. Cornbread would be common, as well.

Have fun! Sounds like a killer deal on the tv. :)

finishing up a show tonight and then hitting the nearest bar, should be done here right after kickoff more or less

GO NINERS!

PS: Loved this Colin Kaepernickquote...from a year ago:

H0ML_WEB_Kaepernick.jpg

“I know there were times in the season where you start looking at things, especially this being my first year and not playing. I’d ask God what his plans are for me,” Kaepernick said. “What is God trying to do with me right now? For me, there were times where I’d wonder if I was in the right place and in the right situation, and you have to fall back on God in situations like that and trust him and know that his plan is perfect for you. Wherever you’re at, whatever you’re doing, that’s what his plan is for you and you have to make the best of it and keep moving forward and keep striving and things will work out.

I don’t think most people look at football players as what they’re doing out here is trying to glorify the Lord,I think a lot of people think of it as oh it’s a game, let’s go win. Ultimately, that’s your goal, that’s what you want to do, but you also want to glorify the Lord on your way to doing that.

My faith is the basis from where my game comes from. I’ve been very blessed to have the talent to play the game that I do and be successful at it. I think God guides me through every day and helps me take the right steps and has helped me to get to where I’m at. When I step on the field, I always say a prayer, say I am thankful to be able to wake up that morning and go out there and try to glorify the Lord with what I do on the field. I think if you go out and try to do that, no matter what you do on the field, you can be happy about what you did.

Either way some former Duck greats will get a Super Bowl ring and be on the active roster.

LaMike and Will Tukuafu for the 49ers, and Haloti/ Ed Dickson. Plus, Dennis Dixon is on the Raven practice squad and has "been" Kaepernick the last two weeks. He'd get a ring, too.

Amazing that 5 former Ducks are on the two Super Bowl teams.

This is trippy. The first QB Ray Lewis sacked in the NFL was Jim Harbaugh.

Hotdogs, nachos, beer, and a day off of work for me. :pimp:

Not a bad way to spend a Monday morning/early afternoon.

Is the Super Bowl very popular in Australia?

Nope, not at all. Majority probably wouldn't even know that it's on.

It's slowly getting a little more popular because of Aussies playing in the NFL. I think Jessie Williams entering the NFL will cause a spike in the Rugby League areas of Australia (different geographical areas of Australia play completely different codes of football).

Most older Aussies think you're a bunch of wusses for wearing helmets and pads.

I know I had recently related to you that I hadn't thought much of Flacco as a QB in years' past. However, he has really, REALLY impressed me this season. IIRC, he was drafted the same year as Matty Ice...and the two have been compared against each other quite often. There's no question in my mind, now, as to which of them is the better.

I ordered a thousand wings from wingstop.. the cashier asked if I was having a super bowl party.. I lied and said yes

- Some random person on twitter.

As someone once said, rice is what I order if I want a thousand of something.

San Fran is making mental mistakes early. That said, I see them winning by at least two touchdowns.

Okay, I'm on this. It'll be easy to find a link. All the usual suspects will have it. Comcast will never see one more penny from me, and they haven't for almost 2 years.

Just bought me some Calvin Klein Concept underwear. I'm set for life. :pimp:

22 different camera views to watch.

Ray Lewis beaten twice by VDavis on passes. Surprised God allowed that.

- Dwight Jaynes

God's on Colin's side. Ray still has unrepentant closet skeletons. ;)

Niners know they need a TD here. I'm confidant they get one.
