Why are they any more likely than Houston was? They strike me as inept - I bet they go for either (a) a Michigan State player, or (b) a player who looked good in the NCAA tournament (Queen?)

Yeah, they will draft Queen

The BS on this rumor is the Blazers willing to take on that much of a contract cause we all know Jody / Bert or whoever is running this will not take on another 6 million so this is complete and utter CRAP so flush it down the drain.

NEXT rumor
Still angry I see. You should look into yoga.

Just say no to Beal.
The pick is not enough compensation
Disagree. Beal is off the books in two years. And if you can trade to send Beal out and bring Dame back I'm all for it. It seems like Milwaukee would probably be all over that.

It seems like you might even be able to get draft compensation in a Beal for Dame trade.

Maybe. If so, we should jump on it.
A trade idea that I have is Ant to Charlotte, Jerami to Philly, Miles Bridges from Charlotte to Philly with PG13 and pick 3 coming to us. That's not buying your way out of Paul George's contract with the third pick that's getting better at two roster spots, probably both starting spots and getting off of PG's contract for the 3rd pick.

Then we flip PG for Dame and the Bucks 2031 first round pick.

That sounds great.

because wing depth, especially good defensive wings are being stacked on teams right now. They screwed up Camara.. with Dunn and Bryant (and now Dillon Brooks) they would have a nice mix.

With the team for sale I can't see Blazers trading for any of these huge albatross contracts for injured or crap players (Beal)

Would you do it? I don't think I would (and it's unlikely Utah would - although they might if we swapped out Ayton, with his expiring contract, for Jerami - and even then they might want another future first), although Markkanen would definitely work pretty well next to Clingan:
