Hey they need me. No one yells them to victory like me.
I was once in that throne but yelling in support of your team is more of a young man's game.
So, I say to you, press on young man. Carry on the tradition.
Once upon a time I can comfortably say, no one, but no one, ever occupied a seat in the Rose Garden that was half as loud as I.

If you ever get the oppurtunity to sit next to me in a game, you will know that you have found your match or have been beaten for I am as loud as they come. Several members on here can vouch for that.

I can still bellow out there. I just can't sustain it. People around me have put their fingers in their ears.
I once got Nate to turn around to see who the hell was making all that noise. Ever since my throat surgery, I've had to tone it down.

But will you be able to come back from your surgery? What if you lose a decibel or two? Can you adjust your game to rely less on volume and more on timing?

I have had people turn and give me looks, people looked surprised mostly some annoyed. I have a loud voice for my size. Always good to know fellow bellowers out there.

I will be louder actually. My herniated stomach was sitting partially against my lungs.

It's been a hard couple days even with the pain meds. But, I'm still breathing. Hell, that hurts too.
So, you have pain whenever you breathe, eh. Solution - Don't breathe. I'm sure those on the Right who are Trump cult acolytes will concur.
Me? Breathe and breathe deeply and often. To hell with the pain. We need you.

Why bring politics into this... Bunch of people in here wishing and hoping for CC to get well soon and you bring that up...

Surgery went well. Got it just in time. The Dr said my esophagus was so damaged it was at the beginning stages of throat cancer. Feeling like shit. But I am alive. Got me as comfortable as they can in a private room.

Bout to have some broth. No solid foods for two weeks. Yay
Yum, meanwhile I'm gonna have me some steak and lobster.

Sorry, I had a couple meetings to go to as well as trip to Costco where we needed gas and an electric wheel chair so I've been gone for a while.
You spoke from your heart and that's wonderfully valid. Nothing wrong with what you said and it's made me re-evaluate my delivery. You're undoubtedly not the only one to have that reaction so I'll take it as constructive feedback.

Nah, my sarcasm meter is totally broken right now. Way too many hours up waiting for my wife to deliver this freaking baby.

I hope you had a great day.

Do me a favor, ask her "are you sure you are having a baby? Maybe it's just gas".
Assuming you survive, let me know her response.

It was great until I told my financial advisor about the growth on my kidney that has my doctors worried enough to schedule a CAT scan complete with contrast which they know could destroy the tiny bit of kidney function that I have left. This will be the second growth on my kidney they've dealt with. The first one was benign and they removed by aspiration. I'm a little scared about this one even though the odds of cancer are small. It could be cancerous and that scares me. My wife is worried sick.
Get my CAT scan in 2 to 3 weeks. Then, it's a day or two before I get the results. I feel the same nervous feeling that you get when going up the first hill of a large roller coaster ride as you anticipate the really large down hill ride at the start.
