Not sure if I ever believed 189 was a hard and fast rule. As for 3B, time for the Captain to continue the Ripken model.
OK Carnac, let's hear you predictions for the rest of his career and what the Yanks organization does, both on/off the field.
Great news. There is no way he can take this to Federal Court. If he was to take the stand, it would be devastating. In addition, the courts are very friendly to the CBA and I don't think that will change. Now the sound bites will be interesting. MLB must be happy with what I perceive is a win.

Toast in the eyes of MLB and public opinion. Now I don't completely buy the Bosch interview on 60 Minutes, that man is trying too hard to save his own skin. I cannot believe in this day and age, for the guy to say ARod was smart about the 'products', but then he was a complete fool in the process of cheating. Really? But then again, he lives in a bubble...ARod's Planet, so perhaps he was getting away with it in his own mind.
If you are in the Yankee front office, do you pull the trigger on severing all ties with him and seeking to retain the $61M balance for the last 3 years. Or do you go after more due to the injury to the brand, lost potential revenue, etc.
Even the union will not back him on any appeals.
Yankees and Arod just need to come to an agreement on a buyout. He is owed I think over 60 million through 2017 Yanks should just offer him 45 million and Arod should just retire with what very little if any dignity he has left.
