It’s typical tribal mentality we are seeing and it’s all assumption based. This is exactly the danger I talk about when it comes to left and right ideology. Just leads to more and more hate. If it was some trump supporter, it will be blamed on trump and that he breeds this kind of behavior which I don’t believe to be true but hardcore trump supporters are nuts. If it was done by somebody on the left, the right will cheer because it wasn’t one of their own. It’s all just fucked. On both sides you have nutjobs, everybody has seen it. And in general there are a lot of nut jobs in this country. The narrative has already been created though and people are running with it. It’s more division. It’s why I don’t watch fox or cnn.

Not all criminals are masterminds.

It's possible that he made just one error - maybe he mis-assembled the trigger-on-package-opening device, or forgot to enable it or something. That's the problem with mass production, if you screw up, you screw up multiple times.

But the more likely explanation is that he's a moron. Should have known that ex-presidents don't open their own mail, and trying to bomb DeNiro is just silly.
