A la Z-Bo.
Z-Bo has a significant advantage in terms of offensive game over Davis.
For example Z-bo can actually make a shot outside of 5 ft.

too fucking old brah and have never played careful your assumptions. leonard was still our center that wanted to be a forward in 15-16 for 22 minutes a gamelol? in 15-16 Davis was the big to replace Plumlee at Center.
Stop looking at 2k when you make your judgments of a player.

davis only played center for 420 of his 1700 minutes of court time according to 82games' 5 man lineups
live in Hawaii BRAH, your assumptions getting you in trouble BRAH. check the lineups BRAH. try and respect your elders as I see I've been a member here for at least 2 weeks longer than you BRAH. LOL SWEAR I've never played ANY video game except star wars when my son, who is now 27 had a playstation in like 2004 BRAHSays he's too old, then uses brah. Logic.
Leonard played outside on offense. aka the stretch 4 position. Davis because he can't shoot outside of 5 ft played inside. aka the center position.
See the reply to the previous post. Ed Davis is a Center in a PF's body. He has always played better as a 5, not a 4.
Go back to 2k.

I view it through a different lense where leonard was the stretch 5 and the opposition hid their own 5 on davis often times on the offensive end. a poor pairing in my own mind as myers was a semi-solid post defender but needing a help defender at the 4 as rim protector.(Davis)myers and a true stretch 4 would have been a better match in my opinion. checking the pick and role there wasn't much question which of the two had the footspeed to switch and myers couldn't check the "4" outside the paintThose lineups you've linked list Davis at PF alongside Leonard at C. If you've watched the Blazers you should know this is a mistake as it really was the opposit.
Based on what?
Bold statement for a player who hasn't played a single NBA gameBased to him being a real offensive player, having very good basketball IQ, hence "nose for the ball", being an excellent rebounder and while maybe not a strong defender, an adequate defender that needs a center beside him (Nurkic, Zach Collins). He could come of the bench but he's our best Power Forward

Not at all. Jordan Bell has been an elite defender, and actual NBA scouts have said he is an elite defender. How many NBA games has Jordan Bell played? You've been proclaiming him an elite defender for months, yet not one single NBA game... Double standard much?

Vonleh doesn't have nearly the upside, he's a solid backup4 but not on Swanigan's level
I don't see why Al-Farouq isn't still the starter.

I'm starting to really feel concern about our bench in regards to 3 point shooting. I know Crabbe was super one dimensional, but without him, we have no one coming off of the bench that is consistently a good 3 point shooter. I'm hoping Neil can add that swish3 factor before the season starts.
I think he'll rebound great in the NBA. Rebounding doesn't equate to best pf on our rosterNot in the NBA he hasn't. He has played exactly the same number of NBA games as Swanigan.
Swanigan has been an elite rebounder, was Big 10 Player of the Year and a unanimous 1st Team All American. He was also ranked higher than Bell in all the mock drafts. Actual NBA scouts considered him a better NBA prospect than Bell.
Yet, if someone here praises Swanigan, you feel compelled to ridicule them by pointing out he hasn''t played a single NBA game. Well, neither has Jordan Bell. So yes, it is a double standard.

I'm hoping Napier gets more playing time. I really think it's essential
I really hope Stotts start integrading a five man rotation.
Dame/CJ/Harkkless/Vonleh/Nurk as our starters and they all come off together.
Is there one single team in the NBA that does this? I don't recall any in the last 30 years. NHL yes, NBA no.
