BNM must be a savant, can't read but can write lengthy informative posts. Which I usually skim through being lazy

What's funny (or pathetic) is Meyers might have a good vertical jump but the fuckin ball is in the basket by the time he gathers himself to make that jump, he sooooooo slow mentally and physically it's like he's in slow mo, never seen a guy so slow reactingOkay. And at this point Meyers has a 40 inch vertical and is way more athletic and physically faster down the court and back. But still not a good comparison as he is a total buffoon on the court. So what is you point? Meyers time is past here. A 7 footer that needs a new situation. Swanigan still needs to fill some major holes in his game to see any extended minutes in the NBA. That is fact.
I'm probably in agreement with this and hope he can be a solid rotational guy, if his shooting proves out I think he can. However, personally I would rather have taken a shot at Bolden or Semi, both those guys can shoot and IMO have more upside, Caleb was not at all one of my preferred picks, but I don't believe he's bad like what's his name was trying to make outCollins looks like a project. This guy can contribute off the bench immediately. I think it may be awhile before Collins is really useful, but Swanigan can be a role player for a long time.
I don't see a ton of upside though, and he's probably never a high level starter.
So if you didn't know anything about him & then decided to "really look into him" - what does that constitute?Sorry to burst your bubble but this guy is not a steal at all. These are facts about Swanigan so don't get your hopes up.
I knew pretty much nothing about this guy. So i decided to do some real looking into him. What i found is not good. Not good at all.
This is highschool and he still looks way out of shape.
Get some NBA level diet and training and he could really be pretty good.Yeah. And he's only gotten into better shape since then.

I believe Olshey said on his interview there looking at Collins will backing up Nurk at the start.
My guess is Collins fills the same role he filled this season at gonzaga, back up center. Comfort with role and defense gets him on the court immediately. Then as the season goes on you'll probably see him sharing the court with nurk more and more as he transitions to power forward.
As for Swanigan, I think there will be a battle with Vonleh for minutes.
Meyers is done. If he's still on the roster, he won't be in the rotation.
Might as well just write off the contract.
Nice to see an unbiased opinion LOLView attachment 14882
Found this comment below a Swanigan draft video on Youtube. Supposedly from a friend of his...got me a lil pumped.
I've thought about that a lot. Hilarious if Pops turned Meyers into a playerCan we just give Meyers to Popovich. He's 0 for 1 on LMA so give him a shot with Meyers to get to 500
When does the season staret?/ When does summer league start?
Collins? Swannigan? Layman? Connaughton? Possibly Vonleh? We should DOMINATE!!!!!
July 7th in Vegas I believe. Wish it was more than 3 games but it's just a showcase.
Wouldn't even be mad. I'd play Steppenwolf Never Too Late and show him video of 80s and 90s centers.I've thought about that a lot. Hilarious if Pops turned Meyers into a player
It's summer league. Guards dominate. They'd have to get the ball firstWhen does the season staret?/ When does summer league start?

I strongly disagree on his form. His form is nearly perfect from three.
Skills-wise he's somewhere between Z-Bo and Rodney Rogers.
