Sweetney for Curry?

When Sweetney was given the minutes he's been very productive. Many games last year especially at the ned of the season he was putting up double double numbers all the time. If Sweetny is starting in the next 2 years or so he will put up numbers very similar to Elton Brand.

yes sometimes but in this case trading sweetney is simply a stupid move any way u look at it. Curry is out of shape and doesnt play the entires season, plus in a few years when houston is gone and t tomas and uve got ariza and crawford starting ur gonna want to have sweetney for his speed and his defense. Also while curry is a good rebounder sweetney crashes the boards offensively better and has a better attitude in the locker room and is more affordable than curry.

I had NBATV last year...I don't know how many games I watched exactly, but it's not like I never watched the Knicks, ya know.

But like I said, I can take your word for it, but I'd have to listen to a Bulls fan also, when he/she would tell me that they watch Curry every single game, and they believe he is comparable to Shaq.

Curry might not reach his potential if he remains in Chicago. He definitely can be something big in the NBA, but a move to a different team should definitely be considered. The knicks arent' the team in my opinion. Too many players are either too selfish or can't play (tim thomas); plus the knicks don't rely on big men, they expect their guards to make shots

the thing about the league now-a-days, is that you don't need big men. Big GOOD centers are hard to come by. it's a myth that you need a "big" center in the middle. You need good wing men and a powerful center. Some guy like 6'9" 6'10" is fine. As long as the guy is a monster and strong enough to go up against some of the bigger guys. There is no longer guys like Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, etc in the league to worry about. Who do you have to worry about in the league that is 7 ft and over? Shaq. Maybe Yao Ming, but honestly all you need is someone tough to defend him, the guy has a weak, soft touch and would easily be stopped by a Ben Wallace type.

What I am ultimately getting at, is that I would make this trade. I for some reason always caught a bunch of Georgetown games and always caught highlights of their games while Sweetney was at Georgtown. The guy has some slick moves and a hell of a lot of potential and is a lot more disciplined than Curry.

It honestly doesn't matter if we make this trade now, it's obvious that the Curry project is not going to work, he hasn't shown much this season and I'm pretty sure we won't get much more out of him. Adding Sweetney won't make us any less worse in an already bad season. All it will do is give Sweetney a chance to gain experience and get better. What else I would like to do is get rid of Tyson in some kind of package.

I don't know why Isah would make this trade, but it's Isah and I don't understand a lot of his moves. Why would they want Curry anyway? I think Nazar Mohammod is a suffice center. He gets rebounds, a few points here, is a decently sized guy. I dunno, I guess they think he'd make a good backup to Curry.
