Big difference, Boki had accomplished zero before he got to the Nets and the Nets rotation at the time was a lot more set. Swift's actually been a double digit scorer in the league and they could use his athleticism against the Lakes, a team that puts up a lot more points than the Nets.
And seriously, how difficult is the Nets offense? It's pick and roles, a few down screens, some isos for RJ and Vince and little else. There's a reason we only score 93 points a game. Plus Swift's pretty familiar with Gasol's moves after about 5 years of going against him in practice.
It's another stubborn move from Frank and that's it. Maybe they'll be a candle lighting ceremony for Collins and Frank will give a eulogy. There could even be a 30-40 second montage that highlights all of Collins baskets made while a Net. Or maybe 20-seconds...

Have you ever noticed the guys without the ball, on an offensive play for the Nets? Take notice next time. Look at where Sean and Boone are, look at spacing, look at how the play evolves, and look at what one big does when the other is setting the pick, or posting up.
It's sometimes easy as you make it sound...and sometimes, it's too tough for even the players to figure out. I've seen a few plays where Sean or Josh obviously don't know where they're supposed to be. I'll let all that sink in while I go upstairs for some dinner.

I've seen more than a few plays where no one knows what's going on. This team doesn't execute, but it doesn't mean it's because the Nets have some intricate offense, that's a cop out. It's because we have guys that don't mesh and can't shoot from the outside and can't post anyone up and score. And guys like Collins who couldn't do anything after setting a screen and guys like Allen who can pick and pop, but not roll because he can't finish at the hoop. And guys like Boone and Williams who can roll, but not pop (at least consistently). We have guys forcing passes and guys with little experience. There's no reason Swift couldn't have played tonight and come out and run some pick and rolls and been successful at it. Those of you that think otherwise have obviously never played organized ball before. You give the guy a few run throughs, tell him who he's covering, where he needs to be position wise, and let him play. You guys act like he's some "special needs" student. He's not splitting atoms out there, it's basketball. Geez.
